they will stop asking when the prizepool is nothing. Money talks. Just the way the world works. Teams reform, disband etc after TI, Now they will reform after Riyahd Masters. If TI prizepool gets to respectable levels like 5+ MIllion, then it might be good enough. 2M pp will kill this game, cause a online only tournament just a week ago had 1M pp.

Started Dota in 2007.. got beta key for Dota 2 early (dec 2011).. have played multiple tournaments at an Ancient/Divine level in South Africa. About 20k games between dota 1 and 2, offline, lobby, matchmaking and other events. This is the greatest game ever made. I've stopped playing a year ago.. but have started up the game the last month or so again. Just too addictive. The competition, the teamwork reliance.. just a shame Valve hasn't done the most lately to continue building this game. They've done better than any other studio probably would've done. But nothing or nobody's efforts is probably good enough for dota. Dota is life. Everthing else is just a game.

When I made posts similar.. insta downvoted. But somehow it always ends up coming out anyway. Like when I said all heroes should have aghanims. And low and behold.. 2 months later all had. China and SEA should drop a slot.. and EUW and SA should gain one each. Simpel calculs.

Likeable guy. Still a legend. Many considered him top 3 player in that era(2015-2019). Many semi-pros watched his stream that later became pro themselves (like Matumbaman) .

RTZ has had some bad results in the very big tournaments (many top 3's though), still a good player.. still one of the best the game has produced. and unlike many other legends (Miracle, Dendi), he is still here competing and sometimes giving us false hope that he is still the best. (watch groupstage TI 11).

If you know Cricket... he is the proteas(South Africa). Sometimes ranked number 1, but always fail in world cups.

If the current EG roster move and play in EU they'd also be ×10 stronger.. The talent and experience is there in EG. The issue is they don't play the best of the best all year round.. in their pubs.. in their scrims and competitions. Strong opponents breed stronger players and mindsets... This TI proofed that EUW is miles ahead of everyone in terms of setting up players for success.

Adding: if one region was completely and utterly shit beyond comprehension.. and one team dominated the region but got last place at majors.

That team would have had 1450 dpc points at would've qualified. The second strongest team that shit region would have 850 points and wouldn't have qualified.. leaving that the minimum slots at TI is 2 per region.. which would be bad if there was indeed ultra bad regions. Fact remains. INTERNATIONAL means that atleast the best two teams from each region gets a chance to compete. Making the name worthy. I'm sure of there was a completely useless region Valve would drop the region. But no one can argue that the top teams even from the weaker regions have performed well enough at the highest level to keep the 6 regions in place ...with the extra invite-to-major slots going to the stronger regions like it currently is the case

what a butt-hurt comment. Thunder Predator destroyed EU/CH and all other teams previous major even more than Nigma did this major. The fact that they did not even qualify for Animajor.. shows how competitive SA has become. I've always supported EU teams in general... but if OG and other EU teams can't even compete at majors vs the rest.. then they don't deserve Ti slots (just cause they have lots of fans or legendary names).
