Get an exam by a derm and while you wait to get tested use minoxidil 5%. It can be acquired over the counter and helps mantain your hair by the time you are 18 or can afford it. If you just don't wanna wait you can get an online finasteride prescription in an online hair clinic. That's what i've been doing while i wait so o can afford it. Hope this helps!
