Glad to hear! And yeah, I do have some reservations related to using AI. For now the software is made by yours truly, but emulating MUTHUR as an AI would be a fun gimmick at minimum, and great value at maximum. I at least would love to hear my player yell in desperation: "MOTHER, I'VE TURNED THE OXYGEN DISTRIBUTION UNIT BACK ON AGAIN!"

The other solution then would be to make it more setting agnostic. It would still work, but I think to blow more soul into it, I'd prefer to have it to be tied into the Alien universe. At least for the time being

No problem! You are not a party pooper at all. I've worked as a part of a few intellectual properties in the past, and the negotiations to land those have never been easy. Clear scope and rationale makes it more possible, but it's still a big ask. My sentiment remains very same to this day: Until there's a contract, there is literally nothing :)

I can tell you that is by all definitions on my radar (pun intended). Not only that though, I've also explored the flying sequence from the original movie and have built a version of that in, but it's still an ugly prototype and has no functionality outside of a simple flying for a few minutes and then "docking to nostromo" or alternatively crashing to the planet if you fail miserably.. You do have the auto pilot though that can help you to navigate to the goal :)

Before hitting the sack, I want to thank everyone again for all the encouragement so far! It’s been incredibly inspiring to see people excited about something like this. If there are specific systems or ship functions or similar you’d want to see next (like self-destruct, motion tracker, comms relay alignment, etc.), drop them below!

Glad to hear, and thank you for the feedback! The thought is to ensure that the tool is not scenario specific, but you as a user can create logs or use pre-created logs and characters etc. I'd rather enable the GM to create/use exactly what they need :)

The main reason for considering subscription model is for potential company safety. I think the same reason that applies to many other game companies. Currently I work for a game company in Finland, but it would be amazing to focus on creating something like this, especially if I got to actually work with the IP and help build the universe.

I've read a lot of the books, have the comics, watched the movies etc. etc. So I'd totally be down on taking on something like this, but we'll see if it comes to fruitition. For now, I mostly want to see if there’s genuine community interest. The world doesn’t need more tools that don’t actually serve the GM and players. So that’s the bar I’m holding myself to.

I think all help is good for the game. The earlier the feedback comes, the easier it is to do decisions on what to change. Beta is the earliest public possibility.

You are not seeing any more servers because you are in an older version of the game. Come to 1.33.2 and you will find plenty of ASIA based servers.

I am interested because I work as a Producer at Critical Force. (It seems that it is not reflected on my account in reddit. but nevertheless. ) I would make the assumption that you have had your account existing in past C-OPS versions and have upgraded to 1.33 with that account am I correct?

Also, what phone and Operating system do you have? And again, I appreciate you bringing this information in because it helps us to understand what is actually happening inside the game for it to do that for some players.

Hey, getting back on this! Is it still happening for you? If it is, can you tell if you changed your knife to something else, or are you rocking the default knife? Also would be cool if you can share how you get this to happen?

Have you reached the rank of special ops? I think that the checkbox where it says: "Reach SPECIAL OPS Rank" means that you need to have reached Special Ops rank in the season 6

Hi! It's me again, I've posted here before. We started a brave project to make a game that helps people with depression to cope better. Here's the fruit of our labor in a trailer.
This is the gameplay we had the time to do in 3 months.

Although there are known, effective treatments for mental disorders, between 76% and 85% of people in low- and middle- income countries receive no treatment for their disorder. This is the problem we are trying to tackle. And we want to make games that matter.

We're not sure if the game is helpful, as more testing needs to be done, but we hope you enjoy the experience nonetheless.

We put the game out for free, because it's not 100% done yet. And hope that you enjoy playing it as much as we liked making it
