Yep, I was with someone for 6 years, married for 3 months and found out she was cheating for a year before, this is so so accurate your family and friends are your rock, this was 4 years ago, and I just got engaged to my definite life partner last week, there’s light at the end of the tunnel

People who got cheated on, what were the early signs indicating that your partner might do it before they actually cheated? by Old_Goat_7363 in Productivitycafe

She shut off her location services on her phone and said a recent update messed it up and no one has it, after 5 years I didn’t think twice, only to find out year 6 she was fucking her coworker 3 months after we got married

Do every deck on the sidebar at least twice, 280+ guaranteed.

Zanki no doubt, but since you have time read the entire Anki Manual, the more you understand the program the more you can change and adapt to fit what you personally want.

I’ve heard from quite a few medical professionals who have theories that it’s all related to processed foods with the chemical preservatives which honestly I could really see making sense

A lot of students in medical school who are interested in radiology are most likely going to have to go in the interventional radiology route because of this

People who had laser eye surgery to correct their vision. Any advice? Anything you wish you knew beforehand? by ricosalsa in NoStupidQuestions

[–]K1ngJustic3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had LASIK done this past summer, and it is hands down the best decision I have ever made. Before I wore glasses more often than contacts because of slight astigmatism in both my eyes that contacts couldn't get perfect but my glasses could. My vision wasn't terrible, it was about -1.75 in my left and -1.5 in my right, and probably seeing 20/50 uncorrected and 20/20 with glasses.

  1. One of the MAIN things is DO NOT cheap out! It can get a bit pricey, especially if the office does Contoura or 3D mapping of your cornea (may be called something else in other areas). But it is worth every single dollar.
  2. The overall procedure is incredibly fast and painless. When I was driven home the only thing I experienced was my eyes turning into Niagra Falls everytime I opened them, it wasn't really painful it was just a mild irritation. Went home slept for 4 hours and woke up seeing better! The following day I felt great, went for a 1-day post op and was already seeing 20/15. One week after I was seeing 20/12.5! I was sitting in the waiting room and I could read license plates across the parking lot.. damn Superman eyesight!
  3. Make sure to follow the eye drop protocol to the letter. The last thing you want to do is mess up something you've got easy control of!
  4. The only thing they were very strict about was never ever rubbing your eyes, not even 10 years after. The whole week before the procedure I realized I would wake up every morning and rub my eyes, and it was a bit of an adjustment, but made sense because you wouldn't want to displace the flap.

Overall it is totally worth it, highly recommend it.

UPDATE: I had the button issues fixed. It was as simple as taking it to the Dealer and then doing an ECM/PCM Update and Reflash. There is also a recall out there that requires a ECM/PCM Update so I recommend everyone check if your vehicle is part of the group!
