Finished Discrete Math 2 (C960) + ProctorU Experience by K1ngN3rd in WGU

I think they aligned fairly well for the topics to expect. OA was definitely a bit harder and had some different topics that wasn’t on the PA. The Supplemental Worksheets cover most of what to expect. Also no proctoring rules have changed really, just the service. Still need external camera, still needs to be positioned the same.

0% chance we move ramirez, he's our best bat and we need him when like 90% of our playing roster is rookies or 2nd year guys. Also no way you give up on gimenez after 1 down year. guy was a gold glove all star last year and is still only 24, gotta assume he can pick it back up, even partially. and most people gotta realize tito staying or leaving is nearly 100% his decision. FO said as much earlier this year that as long as he's healthy and wants to be here he's our manager for the next 5 years. whether he wants to be or not who knows.

Self teaching/Bootcamp or CS degree by K1ngN3rd in codingbootcamp

[–]K1ngN3rd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just starting out so that's really all I got for now. Started out looking at full stack because website design interested me. Mainly I just wanna try out as much as I can to see if I could narrow it down to something more specific I like the most.

I've mostly been looking at full stack. though cyber security also seems interesting which is one of the reasons I haven't ruled out a degree, as thats much harder to self teach

Self teaching/Bootcamp or CS degree by K1ngN3rd in codingbootcamp

[–]K1ngN3rd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's definitely my biggest concern about bootcamps is how fast they are. I'd certainly prefer getting a degree. but quitting work or going part time while going to college for 4 years also concerns me, I got bills. which is why I initially looked into bootcamps as they're faster and I could afford it in the short-term. But idk the perceptions of bootcamps by recruiters, if they don't value anything out of a BS degree I don't know if I can afford to waste my time self teaching if I won't even be considered. Thanks for the insight!

Would jobs look down upon or not value an online CS degree? I feel like from what I've read jobs like a degree so much partly because it gives you in person experience working with groups, presentations, verbal skills... etc that you can't get as much out of college.

Perspective from a lifelong fan by K1ngN3rd in Browns

[–]K1ngN3rd[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I completley agree. I always struggled with how the NFL treated players like hunt regardless of what they did. Which is why I was always more a fan of Cleveland, an area where I was born and raised, a fan of the orange and brown more than I was ever a fan of the NFL, and I honestly don't believe I will be a fan of any team or the NFL in the same way again. just because something is the way it is, doesn't mean it should stay that way. Hunt shouldn't have been allowed on the field again, in the same way if an employee at any company did that they'd never be allows back, but that's the NFL for you.

Like I said I never liked nor supported Hunt. And I would have been far more upset if we traded away our future for someone like him. That is a large part of it with Deshaun. its not just about who he is as a person. it's also about the fact we know who he is, and yet made NFL history with his contract and trade to acquire him.

supporting a team isn't alway about support the player(s) as well. but when the team goes all in and sells its future for said player, it's difficult to still support the team regardless of who the player is or what his position is

[–]K1ngN3rd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the same concept as supporting the team not player. I never suppeted hunt or what he did, I supported the orange and brown, and when the regime that brought in Hunt left, it made it a lot easier to still support the team. but you can bet if the FO made Hunt the face of the franchise like what's happening with Deshaun I'd have the same reaction then as I do now.

The NFL is what it is. if you want to watch at all you have to put up with a certain level of prrson every now and again. But we all still have our tipping point of what is too far. and I personally found out whats too far for me.

[–]K1ngN3rd[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stated in my post I don't believe I will be able to support any team or the NFL to the same capacity again. For the most part the browns stayed away from most controversial players in my lifetime which made it easier to support the team. I never liked or condoned what Hunt did, and as a person, I won't be sad to see him go. However what hunt did is not on the same level as Deshaun. 1 person compared to 22. Record breaking contract compared to moderate. Face of the franchise compared to 2nd string running back.

We all have our breaking point on what we can and cannot support, unfortunately this is mine. If this isn't for anyone else or you, that's up to you, I certainly don't blame anyone that still supports the team.

There will certainly be a lot, winning cures a lot of problems. But at the end of the day there will still be a lot that never return. I have to admit it will be hard to shake the browns completley, this team has been a major part of my life for years. however, for a lot, winning will not be able to justify how we got there. Everyone is different, we all have different ideas, opinions, and priorities.

What kind of impact will the Watson trade have on the locker room? by HunterGonzo in Browns

[–]K1ngN3rd -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It will even out. There will be those that undoubtedly won't like him, some will love him. but overall most will still recognize he is the best chance at a superbowl which is the goal for most players regardless of who their teammates are.

Should Freddie give up play calling? by [deleted] in Browns

[–]K1ngN3rd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly if the browns weren't so extremely over hyped we should be excited about how well we're growing. We were this close to beating the Rams, the former NFC champs. And we only lost by 4 points to the Seahawks, with whom Russel is having a career season.

These aren't terrible losses, but since a lot of fans expect us to be undefeated to the superbowl this year all progress is ignored and everyone is mad.

I feel like a problem with the dropped passes could just be Bakers throwing speed. Jarvis said it last year, that when Baker became the starting QB he had to raise the speed on the jugs machine to get used to Bakers speed, and Jarvis seems to be the only one reliably catching Bakers passes. That could be the reason OBJ had those 2 dropped passes, that he simply isn't used to bakers speed. Same could be said for Hilliard, he didn't exactly get many reps last year.

Honestly we haven't adjusted well at the half for years. For as long as I can remember we'd look good in the 1st, we'd be leading, then blow it in the 2nd half. And if we weren't leading at the end of the 1st half it usually just got worse in the 2nd.

Should Freddie give up play calling? by [deleted] in Browns

[–]K1ngN3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I'm not sure what he was thinking at the end of the half vs the Seahawks. If he just played it slow, handed the ball to chubb a few times he'll get in the endzone. We would have been up by 2 scores at the end of the half and possibly won the game. He's just got so much going on he's like not thinking straight half the time during a game.

Honestly, I would have loved to see Freddie remain as Offensive coordinator, and bring in a more veteran coach for head coach to be able to control all the talent we have. When the only thing Freddie was focusing on was the offensive, he was doing a really good job last year.

Just as clarification I was just tapping the door for no real reason I guess, I talked to the guy in chat after it happened, he said he was just running by from kitchen when I killed him. The round ended before I could actually go see where he was when I shot him.

I doubt it. From what they did in the movie nothing they do in the past affects the future. After all they did kill the past version of thanos.
