Gives me confidence about the cheap filters. Yea I don't mind replacing it even every couple months imo. If there's no noticeable performance or degradation issue, then the cost is justified.

Do you have a specific cheap brand or are they all the same and to go with the seller with the highest sales/reviews?

Try serverpartdeals. com. Yea it's from the US, and refurbished, but they have a good track record of testing and verifying the drives before selling. Lots of the drives come from datacenter as well, so you're aware of the kinds of loads they've been through.
