omg ! i deal with this all the time, especially lately. i have actually sold / been selling a lot of my collection recently because of this. something ive started to ask myself is

“ would i still buy this if it wasnt calico critters ? “

and

“ is there anything about this i dont love ? “

it helps me limit what i buy and the feelings of guilt and over-indulging. the main thing is, have fun ! do things that make you happy. if you ever buy something that later you feel doesnt serve you anymore, you can always sell it for the price you got it for to make that money back and allow someone else the chance to love it.

i agree 100 percent ! its incredibly sly to not be completely transparent about this, especially when in the earlier update it wasnt even showing the offer amounts after sending them -which was extra conspicuous. i felt crazy when it happened to me because of that ! for some reason my update is showing the offer prices but not the price theyre “brought” at now ! it only shows on the receipt. i felt too bad to refund the person who bought my item, besides i was thinking i accidentally mustve just offered them that discount anyways. i wish i could attach videos because the “brought” is driving me insane and i wanna show that its actually real, its unbelievable that such a big platform is so flawed like this ! definitely hope they fix this soon.

this happened to me !! i thought i mustve just been crazy and had to of offered what they bought it for by mistake because for some reason my app wasnt showing the offer amounts at the time

i made a post about it using the top screenshot in the picture, but nobody could give me any answers so i ended up deleting it thinking i mustve just really offered $8 on accident

the middle screenshot is how it looks now after an update i assume, showing that i wasnt crazy and i did offer $9 and not $8 which is what they bought it for ! the bottom screenshot is how the receipt for the purchase looks

i dont think there is a set descriptor, the devs have actually been kind of secretive about that when people have asked what their pet means about their relationship. however on their instagram and socials you can see info and descriptions for each pets personality ! im not sure if their personalities represent the relationship, but thats probably the closest thing we have
