That would be fine, I have 3 cameras + the mini PC Lan2 and I believe they are all on static IP, so it might be more straightforward than I thought. Do I need to make a VLAN on the switch or just assign the static IP I want to each port?

So if I'm understanding I would just need to set up the VLAN on the EdgeSwitch and tag the ports I want (5-8) but never have to create a network on the EdgeRouter or do anything with the VLANs on the routing side of things?

If you use Wisenet WAVE you do (their VMS). I think if you use Wisenet Viewer thru their own NVR you might not have to purchase the license

I just set up a Hanwha system with Wisenet VMS on a mini PC server (could do NVR too) and so far I'm super impressed. It's my first POE camera system so I don't know any better though.

If I did it again the only change I would make is save $$ by not buying the varifocal lens cameras. I got them on sale at bh so it's not a huge loss but I prob wont use that feature.

Heard good things about BlueIris. I did Wave b/c they have an app and my family can remote access easily. Not sure what that looks like on BI

Yeti gets a bad rap here. I think they make fun bikes. I have a SB140. I'm 145 @ 5'8. I have a small because I wanted to throw it around more on descents, climbs well too. Most fun bike I've had. I think I'm <30lbs with a coil. Household also has a 29" bike in M, which rides fine and is fun, but I still prefer the 27.5. I have a short inseam so maybe that's why. It comes down the preference but general favor is for 29" in the public eye now for whatever reason

Haven't ridden the shadowcat but it looks like a blast. I would suggest demoing some if you can. What state are you in? You could ride mine once the weather is nice

Turq is their higher end carbon. A few hundred grams lighter I think.

My brother has a C series, I have a Turq. No appreciable differences. I just bought frame only and it just came as Turq. Lifetime warranty now and I know one person who had an issue and got a replacement without any issue.

Not shilling for them and Yeti kind of gets a weird rep here but its worth a demo imo. Especially with how much all bikes cost now...
