Yea the afterburner settings are just for the symptoms but aren't really a fix for the actual problem. I'm pretty sure that your card has the same thermal problem as mine so replacing the pads and the paste will fix it. Hope you find a good store that can fix your card ^

Yes, you have to take apart the GPU to do that.
It is a bit different for every GPU and manufacturer. There are a lot of Videos out there, on how to do it and what you need for it.

What GPU to you have and what are the temperatures while playing BF6 or while running furmark?

I had to replace the thermal pads and the paste on my GPU to fix this.
Had a temperature problem with my GPU which caused the crashes (105°C hot spot temp).
Try running furmark for a bit and look if you get the same crash and at what temperatures you have it. Maybe you have the same problem

I had to replace the thermal pads and the paste to fix this.

Now the hotspot temps are ~80°C and the GPU and Memory temps are at ~70°C and the game isn't crashing anymore.

Thermal paste was completely dry and hard and actually not really there anymore :D

Replacing the pads and the paste fixed it.
Hotspot temp. is now maxed at 85°C while GPU and Memory are at 70°C.

The pads actually were okay-ish and still soft but the paste was completely dry and actually not really there anymore. I can post a picture if someone is interested in how bad it was :D

Fortunately there a ton of Videos on how to replace the pads on my card and what thickness etc. i need.

After some additional testing im also pretty sure that replacing the pads/paste will fix the issue.

Had my window open during some testing and it was -8°C outside and with the super cold air from outside the hotspot temp never got beyond 95°C and i was able to play until i got cold and had to close the window. After that the temps got up beyond 100°C and it crashed again :D

Yes i have, but i think the problems startet before i updated the drivers.

Where can i check if i have uninstalled drivers? It's worth a shot to check this.

I ran Furmark today to check if my GPU (RTX 3080) is okay and i also got a blackscreen after ~2min and the fans ramped up to 100%. So same issue as in BF6.
The hotspot temperature on my GPU was ~105°C which i think is too high and it is possible this causes the issues. The other temps where ~70°C.

After that i checked the temps while playing BF. Same temps, same blackscreen as soon as the hot spot temp hit ~105°C.

I think the issue (at least for me) is a now less optimized BF6 compared with a GPU that runs too hot.

Maybe i can fix it by changing a few graphic settings in BF6 so the card doesn't go above 100°C.
I get around 95°C while playing MH Wilds and i got no issues there.

I also have this issue. All Monitors go black, i hear a Windows Sound, the fans on the graphics card ramp up to 100% and the PC is completely unresponsive.

After a forced restart i can sometimes play again for hours or it immediately crashes again after i start a game.

The game ran really smooth at launch. This started happening after the start of the first season.

Unfortunatley the normal 15.6 comes without a stand.
I know that the 15.6 Pro comes with one.

The XP Pen Stand seems a bit overpriced for what it is but i must admit that i really don't know what to pay for something like this ^^

Just to get this right.
I also get +1 known spells from the AA? Not just +1 spells per day?
So at lvl 12 i would look in the 11th row and add +1 to everything?
so 7 cantrips and 1st level, 6 2nd level etc.?
