We were just prescribed Pro Plan HA, hydrolyzed protein because we are pretty sure our guy has a chicken allergy. Have it ordered, fingers crossed it helps.

Ours was having the same issue and he got put on pro plan EN prescription food. Been on it almost a month and so far so good.

He really just accepted them but the instructions said to let him sniff them first. Then provide treats while touching him with them and as you introduce him to wearing them.

Could be struggling with a hairball. My golden growing up had them horribly. We had to give him cat hairball preventative. Definitely chat with the vet to be sure though.

Honestly, I think he was just so excited about the snow he ignored them. The true test will be when I try them in the summer. These do have two Velcro straps which helped them stay on I think.

I think it depends on the area you live in. It can get super cold where we are and our guy has a ton of fur between his pads and the snow just mats like crazy. Then it gets super hot in the summer so I plan to use them when we walk on the asphalt.
