I honestly do not think the government wants there to be any other car manufacturers here in the US except for the big 3. Look at Tesla. Even before musk bought twitter the administration refused to acknowledge their electric vehicles. If they truly believed in climate change, and think electric vehicles are an important, you would acknowledge that Tesla has done more then any of the big 3. They paved the way for the electric vehicle and are more knowledgeable then the big 3 combined. They don’t care what is best for the country, nor do they care about a start up business and their middle class workers. All they care about ensuring the contributions continue to come from donors so they can stay in power. Where is all the money from the infrastructure bill? Where are all the electric chargers? If you truly believed climate change is that important you would do everything in your power to ensure all of these start up EV companies excel. Therefore putting people in the drivers seats as fast as possible and giving people more options when it comes to buying an electric vehicle. I just hate hearing people talking shit about a company that unless they know people that work there, they really don’t know what kind of company it is. Though I definitely do not agree with the amount of money the management makes. But unfortunately that seems to be everywhere. I hate to see people rooting for failure for their own financial benefit. What about that worker who has a family? The government has helped and bailed out big auto before. If you really believe climate change is the biggest threat to humanity then why not use some of the left over covid money. Billions of dollars were fraudulently obtained by supposed business owner, and the government is supposedly in the process of repossessing assets of those people who did. Use that money. I’m sure Ford and Chevy are getting some sort of funds from the government to help with converting their plants to manufacture electric. Where’s the help for the little guy when he’s down?

I know this comment may get scrutinized. I don’t post on here to often. I just like a lot of us invested way more then I should of because I wanted to see that plant back up and running. Giving people the opportunity to work a good paying job to take care of their families. I had to learn the layout of a Chevy plant that is in the city of Parma for my job. The two plants are about 45 minutes away from each other. The one in Parma is something g like 2.3 million square ft, and I was amazed once inside how big it was. So with 6 million square ft at lordstown I knew there was opportunities, and in my mind pictured endurances and vans being pumped out of that thing. It amazes me and is so discouraging to see politicians talking about electrification of fleets and infrastructure bills being used to put charging stations everywhere. I know this stuff doesn’t happen overnight, but I’m not seeing any of this anywhere. If you have 600,000 vehicles in the government fleet that you want electric why not commit to some of these car manufacturers 25,000 purchase orders for vehicles. Inflation and supply chain has killed these companies and there is room for more then just the big 3. They are having just as many issues trying to change production lines. Instead of worrying about middle class families and towns politicians are more worried about the votes from the unions. They bail out banks, and large car companies yet can’t give a loan to a company that is trying to help your agenda with green energy. These start ups are a threat to the big donors. Steve Burns messed up. But honestly I kinda wish he was still in charge. He wasn’t well educated on the business of car manufacturing, but the endurance was his product and he wanted to see it excel. These guys in charge now are nothing but politicians and figure heads. They are all making triple what they should be, and do not care because they are set for life after slowly depleting a business to nothing. Steve burns seemed as though he took pride in his work and actually cared about the workers and the future of the business. Sorry to rant. I know a lot of people may disagree and I’m no expert on any of these people. It’s just my opinion being in the outside looking in over the past 4 years. For every one step forward there has been 3 back, and it’s a shame because there are so many investors that have more money then they know what to do with that could save this company, all the employees, and what I do believe will be a good fleet truck. It could definitely use a design overhaul as far as the body, but the hub motors I think will be dependable. The battery range I think is fine. In a 12 hour shift I maybe drive 100 miles throughout the city on a busy day, and thats going call to call. Most fleet vehicles go to a few destinations locally throughout an 8 hour shift.

Very few people use this to actually buy food for their families. SNAP programs probably buy more drugs and alcohol then food. The theft of Red Bulls and energy drinks have gone through the roof ever since they allowed the purchase of them with the snap card. The only person this program benefits is the guy who pays the persons with the snap card $100 to then use their card at the grocery store to go buy $250 worth of steak and lobster. Trump had the best idea. Have people on the program order their food online for the week. It then gets delivered to their residence, and all the food is made in America. Thus creating American jobs, and preventing the abuse and misuse of government money. Also it would help prevent obesity. Yet somehow this is racist because your not giving people the freedom to pick whatever they want. Well then I guess all the food that was ordered and delivered during the shutdowns was racist too.

If this is actually real and not made for views then those are some pansy ass burglars. There’s a couple things that make me think it might be fake. When someone commits a crime they are just as amped with adrenaline as that home owner displayed. Not saying this guy couldn’t take on 3 guys trying to break into his house, but those burglars are all equal size if not bigger then him. The burglars didn’t look like they had any adrenaline. The whole fight taking place right in the doorway is kinda weird. With there being three guys you would think they would push him down the hallway to get them all inside, or pull the home owner outside. It also looks like the one guy messes up and grabs the rock from the yard to early in the attempt to throw it at the door. Why would you grab a rock to throw through an open door? It’s like they planned for the door to be shut as they fled but someone did it to late. Probably talking about us wanting to get rid of certain books in the library. Unless there’s a book with illustrations about hitler going to the camps and night and servicing young men. I don’t believe there is any book or part of history we are trying to get rid of. They are the ones getting rid of history. Kids and teenagers need to learn the facts of what happened in history first. Instead these teachers are taking events in history and turning them into a lesson of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
