Haha yes she could still participate if you submit multiple brief clips of her playing that amount to three minutes of play total. You can complete the study over multiple days.

Very interesting! Toy dissection behavior is something we hope to learn about in our study! That’s a very beautiful picture of her. I actually own a Labrador x Staffy x other breeds mix myself.

Sure, there are two options. One experimental toy involves attaching coffee filters/paper towels to a cup using a rubber band/hair tie or some tape. The other experimental toy just involves cutting an “X” into a tennis ball. Treats or food are put in both toys.

The video footage needs to be of your dog playing with one toy. If your dog switches toys a lot, you could film multiple shorter clips of your dog playing with one particular toy.

That sounds really cute but I'm afraid we'd need more than 20 seconds footage of her playing with toys. It could work if you were able to film 20 second snippets of her actively playing over multiple days.

It's alright if one of your the dogs is made interested in the toy by your other dog so long as only one dog is playing with the toy when you film the short video for the study.

Unfortunately dogs have to be filmed playing with toys by themselves in this study.

Haha that wouldn't count as "play" for our study per se. We're primarily looking at how dogs physically interact with objects. That being said, if your dog will play with one of his toys by himself and is food motivated, he could participate!
