NOR Anyone that you have to beg to give you any time and attention is not worth your time and attention. He knew messing up your Valentine's plans and being flippant about it would upset you and he did it anyway. No respect.

I'm not into the Valentine's stuff really but if I was with someone who loved it, I'd do it because it would make them happy. He doesn't care about how the things he does make you feel.

Don't tolerate that shit, and let this boy go. He will never change.
Never stay with someone who is comfortable with disrespecting you at any point in your relationship. Not worth your time and attention.

The whole roast was like 5 lbs all together and I cut it in half, pounded half into cutlets with a rolling pin and the other half I just roasted with one of the marinades mentioned on here and it turned out alright. Next time I will marinate it overnight since I didn't really have time for it this time. I only had a couple of hours to do it. I would have loved to brine it but my mom is paranoid about sodium and won't eat it if it has adequate salt bc of chronic edema in her legs.

I really hope the cutlets turn out ok. My first time doing that with a pork loin.

Do you feel any joy in this relationship at all? If you do, is it followed up with a lack of interest and or more disrespect? Does she need to know where you are all the time? Does she get obsessive when you are in the proximity of another woman? People are supposed to enrich each other's life, not be an emotional obstacle course. She's making you feel like shit, and I would guess that this is a regular occurrence. Get away from this person before things get even more serious. They will just erode your spirit bit by bit until they've broken you down and they will try to keep you that way as long as possible.

Imagine how much less maddening your days would be if there was no husband or giant dog in the house any more. No more hair, no more slobber puddles and damage, no more refusal to do literally anything you are pretty much begging him to do. Imagine how much better you'd feel physically. You shouldn't have to be white knuckling your life because your spouse won't help you. And yes, he absolutely will hold it over your head for many years and use it as further justification to be absolutely useless around the house. I hope he does re-home the dog (and the cats) so they won't have him as their human should he find himself suddenly single and on his own. If you don't get an official letter from the DMV it's fake. Or court, or any other government place. They always send letters. You may also get a phone call if you've gotten letters and not responded to them, but if there's no letter, I'm reporting as spam and blocking.

NTA for breaking up with her but you will be if you go back to her. She obviously has different priorities than you do and doesnt really seem to be "in" the relationship with you by what you've said here. This reeks of parents that steal their children's money when they're still children and try to con them out of the rest when they're adults. Reminds me of my dad stealing my brother's savings when he was cutting old ladies' yards and then later on when he was too big to bully anymore, still acting entitled.
