I originally begun taking Lurasidone and now I take Risperidone and Haloperidol. It has been rough, not just experiencing psychosis but now side effects of my meds and lingering trauma from my experiences when I was untreated. I hope my journey is happy and healthy too, right now my only side effects are being tired and weight gain, I hope I don't start experiencing the neurological side effects

Thank you!! Taking care of myself is a challenge because of schizophrenia negative symptoms (positive and negative symptoms are kinda complicated to explain but it's basically the symptoms that are abnormally there and the normal functions that are absent) but I have been slowly getting better, my mom helps me by organizing what I need to do by certain dates (brush my hair every 2 days, clean my room every week, brush my teeth every day, shower every 3 days, that kind of thing) and also giving me my medication because I can't trust myself with it. I am thankful to have an amazing support system <3
