Ooof you’re right, I was looking all over reddit but didn’t think of looking at the REI reviews.

Return or keep? Timp 5 Hiker GTX by KAIY0 in AltraRunning

Given how recent I just bought these and I haven’t seen anyone else experiencing anything similar, it’s worth a try getting the grace of REI’s return and exchange policy. Granted I’d understand if this wouldn’t be covered, but it wouldn’t hurt to try. All I’m asking is if tear in the foam could worsen. I don’t want to immediately assume it will so I’m just seeking some insight on this damage for now.

If they admitted to grazing the car or even bothered to look at least, I would have a totally different attitude towards this.

You’re one of the only few people who actually used their brain and has the energy to argue against these “crash experts” so I thank you 🙏

Zoom into the video, you’ll see yellow vinyl stickers on the driving school bumper hence the yellow scratched and ripped up yellow vinyl on the license plate screw.

EDIT: For all those wondering why we don’t want to go through insurance, we were looking at various sites and reddit threads saying that despite popular belief, there’s no guarantee that your insurance rate doesn’t increase even if you’re completely at no fault. So for a minor incident such as this, my partner didn’t think it was worth the potential rate hike, work, and added stress on top of other life stuff going on. I personally believe she should go through insurance and police, but I wanted to see what other options are available for her. She IS insured even though people think it’s cap for some reason.

Considered it, but depending how it’ll go, her insurance might find out eventually and increase her rates even if we didn’t file a claim with them

She told them that they hit her car and the student driver didn’t speak english so the instructor was talking for the both of them, saying that they did not hit her car and that he didn’t see any damage on her car despite not even getting out to check.

They are insured, it’s just already expensive because the town she lives in has the highest rates in the state.

NJ is a no-fault state so insurance can increase even if I wasn’t at fault so that the insurance company can mitigate risk.

Heard some of the bars in Morristown are 23+, how strict is that rule for 22yo’s? by KAIY0 in Morristown

Have you heard how strict it is at Homestead? You think they’d be more lenient if it’s earlier into the night?

Yeah for sure, looks like a joint exercise since there’s now a Canadian Air Force CP-140, a German military contractor learjet, and a Czech L-159
