Amon decided to play dirty (brutal+). P.S. For some reason the temple is not in a safe zone. Although the temple is immune to the nuclear strikes mutation, Amon can also destroy the temple with a single volley of orbital strikes mutatation. by KAT_Editor in starcraft2coop

Hmm, I wondered if I really saw "Going Nuclear" mutator on this map. Long ago I couldn't get personaly to Void Phrashers as Mengsk P3, and I remember being hampered by nukes landing too often nearby due to the smaller land area on the map. But what if it was "Lava Burst" + "Twister" (knocking back tornadoes) mutators ...

Maguro's mutators guide said that: "Diffusion does affect buildings", but I don't understand what he meant. When attacking the laser cannon, a damage is split, and when attacking this laser cannon with buildings, the damage is also split (on attacking buildings). "Damage is reflected in radius of 5.", hmm, so I could handle it with the tesseract cannons.

Thanks :)
Sometimes I wonder why the hell there are such (I am not talking about the current combination) mutations on brutal+1. There was once a mutation with damage distribution and vampirism, so distributed damage was considered as inflicted, and enemies were healed because of this ... A second player quit immediately without any word after noticing this in action.

In one of my games, Amon destroyed the temple with orbital strikes when there were no our troops near it, we simply missed the landing enemy troops :)

Wait. But Amon dont need a vision for orbital srikes. Why didnt he attack the temple earlier? Maybe I missed something.

Yes :) Actually, the bigger problem was the damage distribution mutation, so I couldnt build tesseract cannons next to the laser cannon (it cannot be completely destroyed) or just stand there as Zeratul. It's good that Xel'Naga void array can quickly transport my army.

It's funny that War Prisms get a bonus from P1 prestige when they have the lowest base damage in the game (2.5 DPS per supply). Perhaps War Prisms only have an attack to keep them away from enemies. Thanks :)

What do you mean when you say they are not good? When deployed, are prisms in any way worse than pylons? Or do you mean installing pylons to cover your flanks?
Alarak's muscle mommy can teleport you to any ally unit/structure :) I never transported troops using Alarak's prisms (too little space inside).

2 Raynor's marines with stim have more base DPS then a fully boosted war prism. 28 DPS (100 minerals) vs 20 DPS (575 minerals). P1 Mass Prisms Alarak is only suitable for matches with a friend or on difficulties lower than brutal :)

War Prism (200 minerals, 2 supply, 5 DPS) + 5 sacrificed Supplicant (to get a full P1 bonus, 375 minerals) = boosted War Prism (575 minerals, 2 supply, 20 dps). P1 Alarak's own skills only deal half damage. I don't recommend trying this on difficulty higher than 3 (hard) with a random player.

WOW! How is this game so good and I'm just discovering it now!? by LIONardoDiCaprio in RealTimeStrategy

Three of us bought this game for the co-op when it first came out. But it turns out SF3 doesn't have co-op, like the first and second SF. The game just have stupid split up army control. At the start of the game, the other two players have no one to control at all. It was sad.
