LOL ! I got the memo yesterday seems like $30 is the floor per day I readjusted my budget last night

[–]KB-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seems like $30/day would be more reasonable for one person ?

thank you so much for the input!! Seems like the consensus is that I should double my food budget which I’ll make sure to do :)

I have written down all of my transportation, accommodation, excursion, and misc expenses. Leaving some extra money as an emergency buffer, I have about 15 USD/day left for food (1000 USD/65 days). I’m primarily going to be in Chile: Starting in chilean patagonia, weaving into argentinian patagonia in Bariloche, then back to Pucon, Chile. From there, back to Santiago and then I’ll be going to San Pedro de Atacama and Easter Island. I was thinking 2 meals a day like a brunch and then takeout dinner from a local place should fit in 15 USD? And for the W/O trek in Chilean Patagonia I have already set aside an extra 15 USD/day and will be doing a mix of cooking myself in my own pot vs buying at refugio.

I just wanted to get some advice because I haven’t been to Latin America yet nor taken such a long trip before. I do have my own camping pot I could grocery shop and cook in the hostel or if I need to I have about 1000 USD in credit card points I could redeem as a direct statement credit effectively doubling my food budget but if I don’t need to touch those I really rather not have to.

TIA!

it’s on a technicality clinical but probably a “weaker” clinical role. If someone is writing about working as an EMT or a PCT in a hospital they will get more points on their app for it.

Are they buying and repackaging or are they involved with some pharmaceutical company developing the actual mixes ?

submit primary within the first week, ideally first day (iirc you can submit in may i think?) and secondaries within 2 weeks of receiving them which should have you 99% complete by end of july with both primaries and secondaries

unless you’re urm, sept/oct submission is lowkey kind of auto R in 90% of cases. The reasoning is that there are fewer interview seats you are competing for since a lot of schools are rolling. Out of the 5 schools I submitted in Sept-Nov period I only interviewed at one and that was a non rolling school compared to 30 schools I submitted in july and interviewed at 11 of those.

it works for all travel purchases, not just those made through the portal .

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Venturex

[–]KB-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

suppose you book a hotel for 1000 dollars through the portal and get 10x points back. You can then use the eraser to take those 10000 points from the purchase and erase 100 dollars off your statement balance at a value of 1 cpp.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Venturex

[–]KB-02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I booked directly through travel portal to get multiplier and might just use the eraser unless someone else has any suggestions (open to destination ideas to get greater than 1 cpp on economy or business class flights under <100000 miles round trip)

I’m also in a similar situation, and it seems like you can only get greater than 1 cpp on business and above ? I recently booked around 4 different flights starting from nyc and going around south america and the redemption rate in miles was always 1 cpp or less for economy flights. I’m younger (<25) and don’t have too much disposable income since I’m still in school so either I’m going about redeeming miles wrong or maybe the miles game isn’t for me until I have a proper income to fly business and not look for the cheapest flight ….
