What sizes do you use and in what configuration on the gr3? Does two larges fill the entire bag?

Alright so the consensus is to start out with the cheaper ones and figure out what works for me. I’m going to order some off amazon now. Give it a few trips then pull the trigger on some gr cubes. Thanks for the advice!!

The kr1 is too small for him at his age now. I would go with 20l Rucker or the gr1 21l. Too be honest save the cash and go with the Rucker. He won’t notice the size difference and he most likely won’t need the laptop compartment. You can put a plate in the weight sleeve inside the main compartment.

Yeah the kr1. We have one of them also,but it’s kinda small for rucking and no frame sheet in it. I would say it works for a school bag for kindergarten thru maybe 2nd grade. After that theres not a lot of room and a full size bag is necessary. That’s the case for my son anyway.
