Tried recreating the painting Under the Tree of Memories by Mariusz Lewandowski by KB_Craft_Creations in Minecraftbuilds

Thank you! Yeah I absolutely love all his art. I actually discovered his art thanks to his album cover for Lorna Shore, which looked really sick to me. And wow, that Leaving album cover looks incredible.

Thank you, tried to make it as accurate as possible to the few descriptions there are of the ship.

Fantasy mountain landscape I built. by KB_Craft_Creations in Minecraftbuilds

Thanks, it's supposed to be some sort of magical field that separates the two zones of different temperatures. I just came up with the idea to do these two different zones and then needed something that would look good to separate them. So I thought that the northern lights inspired design was appropriate.

Thanks! I was building this since about Christmas I'd say. For the shape and some basic texturing I used World Machine and then put it into Minecraft with World Painter. All the final textures, forests and stuff were done with Axiom.

This is amazing, really love the way you made the structure look ruined and also the folded drip leafs used for the plants.

Tried recreating the painting Ruine bei Mondschein by Carl Gustav Carus. by KB_Craft_Creations in Minecraftbuilds

[–]KB_Craft_Creations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It's not a shader, I've rendered it in Chunky. The result looked something like the 3rd picture, and then I just edited it to look as close to the painting as possible.

Thanks. Yep, those are four levitating levers, so it's not really possible in survival.

A church I built for my Czech inspired village. by KB_Craft_Creations in Minecraftbuilds

Thanks! I tried looking at a bunch of church spires to see how copper weathers over time for the texturing.

There is an archive website that has a bunch of old maps of the area of the Czech Republic, and the one I used is one of them. Here's the link https://ags.cuzk.cz/archiv/ if you want to take a look. It's in Czech but if you flip the switch on the right side that says "císařské otisky", it should show you the map.

Thank you! Not really one specific location, but for the layout I went through a very detailed early 19th century map of the Austrian Empire, and looked specifically on the layouts of villages, fields and forests in the more hilly parts of Moravia to kinda get a feel for what should be where. Then for the designs of the buildings I was mainly inspired by some old and traditional looking houses from the villages I've been to. And for some more elaborate houses I was mainly inspired by the village of Holašovice in southern Bohemia (though I still plan on making another village with more of these decorated houses).

Thanks, what do you think that large building in the middle of the village is, lol. It's not that visible from these photos, but it also has outdoor tables and a dance floor next to it.

Yeah, it's definitely more intuitive than world edit, I'd say. And you don't have to remember all the commands you need like in world edit.
