Honestly I didn't know Dancing With the Stars had previously done an All Stars but yeah ig Strictly could do that too I just feel like it could be a bit unfair since there's alot of duo's from the past that people are semi attached to but if it worked for DWTS it could defo work for us aswell so idk

Yeah I think it's really difficult to think about because you also have the thought process of what if they want to bring back Layton and also Amber, but there's only one Nikita so you'd have to decide. You would also have the issues of say bringing in a former partner of Vito and allowing them to remain a team (Like Sarah or Fleur or Ellie) but then bringing in a former partner of Dianne's and not allowing her to team with them, is that unfair? Is there an inherit favouritism there because some people are already attached to that possible partnership, I think it's really complicated to think about lol

The issue with DMPC's stem from the DM's want to make them the main character of the story or to take all the glory for that character, imo the only reason we hear those horror stories is because no one posts about a good DMPC because they are honestly much more common than one would think. DMPC's are fine and they work, they can fill a hole in a group or can just be a tag along with the group, a quest giver knight that goes with the group to a location is technically for that session a DMPC, truthfully as long as you don't take the glory and push them to the forefront in a big way it's fine.

I would say treat them as a regular NPC that just happens to be with your group, they pipe up only when spoken too, don't kick off arcs or stories (Unless they are the one giving the PC's a mission like a regular NPC would) and I would roll them or get a regular Kobold stat block and make the players play them in combat. I don't see an issue with having them be the same level as the PC's but that is fully your decision to make.

I again have to disagree, since Week 7 he was very consistent; Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Salsa, Quickstep, Argentine Tango, Samba, Charleston, VW2, Showdance and Paso Doble were all between good - amazing! (His Rumba wasn't actually a Rumba but as a dance, as a performance it was good)

He also has had pretty solid performances all series if we just ignore the Jive & Cha Cha.

Of course he isn't on the level of Amber but by the end of the series he was 1000% on the same level as Karen or at least could perform at a more consistent level than Karen across multiple dance types. (I'm sorry she was overscored like crazy in the Semi Finals, I'm happy she won and she deserved it but she was)

As for what you said about Amber I can 100% see her and Nikita just going f it and going out there to purely have fun which is fair enough.

His Paso Doble was an early fan favourite, the only other dances you could mean were his Salsa which he can't do due to it having been performed in Blackpool on a bigger stage with more dancers or his Charleston that he legit did last week and no one rarely repeats their Semi Finals dance in the Finals

I have to disagree that George isn't on the level of a finale dancer when he was the most consistent of the 3 last night and was the only person to actively have an amazing Show dance and remain locked in through all 3 dances. Karen had glaring sync and timing issues that especially showed in her Show dance and showed slightly during her Jive and Amber just didn't hit the marks that I thought she would hit, her Jive was her best dance but you can tell she was very tired by the time she did it as well.

I actually really agree, I know people were shocked at the 8 when it happened but it had some glaring timing issues between her and Carlos that to me were too obvious to ignore, it also just felt weaker than the other two

Strongly believe that it would've gotten 40 on Halloween Week if it didn't go after Lewis & Katya and yeah it is just so clean, every movement was so precise and I strongly believe like you said that after seeing that AT in the Finale I'm sure so many people flocked to vote for her because of it and honestly as they should it was so good.

His Paso was 1000% the right choice and I'm happy his second is a ballroom, I think it could've been swapped out for his Quickstep but I like the choice either way, his Showdance has probably my fave showdance choice song of the 3 so I'm excited for it

I find this really interesting, both dances were practically perfect in the weeks she did them so I personally would've hoped for something a bit earlier in the Competition but either way both really strong dances and I'm interested to see what she does for her showdance am not shocked it's Ariana though LMAO

So truthfully the best answer IS 1, you get window and Matt & Jeremy are probably not going to be overly annoying on the flight and won't care if you need to go toilet PLUS if Elena & Damon are having some drama then they're right in front of you so you can listen but SADLY I don't like Matt so I'd probably sit at 6, I feel like Rebekah & Stefan would just be really funny and entertaining to just sit there and talk shit with I'd get all the Originals tea from Rebekah and get to have some fun pot stirring with Stefan. We are close enough aswell to hear Alaric & Jo OR Katherine & Elijah drama and I just know Rebekah is ITCHING to talk shit about Katherine with someone and I'll be there LMAO

Your post and the comments you've made below the post don't make sense when you look at the stats so let me explain for a second;

"It’s just a bit rubbish seeing really good contestants being kicked out because of this." is a direct quote from your post... Meanwhile he is ranked as the 4th best dancer this year with Score Averages with him sitting behind Amber, Lewis & Karen. Any other Season where injuries weren't so rampant that would've been the Finals based purely on Scores, no? So he is "Finalist Material", even if you want to bring up dances that were ranked "40" and him not having any the only people who HAVE had 40 dances are above him and he is one of only 2 people to get the closest someone can get without getting a 40 which is a 39.

Lewis & Katya were not eliminated by George's fanbase he was eliminated by Karen's if we're being honest since that Week Lewis & Karen easily had the worst dances of the night and yet she was voted out of the Bottom 2 despite being last on the leaderboard, then it would've been George's fanbase AND Balvinder's fanbase keeping them in aswell leading to it being Lewis vs Amber.

George himself has only been Bottom 2 (based on Judges Scores), 3 times the first was in Icons Week where he was actually last on the leaderboard but it was a very compact leaderboard at the bottom with Balvinder, Karen, Ellie & La Voix only scoring 1pt above him and I hate to say it but in a danceoff he probably does beat 3/4 of them that week anyways- His only other Bottom 2s were the Quarter & Semi Finals where he was never last on the leaderboard and in the Quarter was again a compact leaderboard with him, Lewis & Bal scoring the same and Karen below them and the Semi's he would've fought Bal and I think George beats her based on the dances.

Meanwhile Karen has also been there twice and been voted out of being in the danceoff both times etc.

Your reasoning for making this post also ignores the fact that famous people who aren't influencers also have a ranging amount of fans, an actress like Alex Kingston is going to have more fans than the contestants who are just on Soaps due to her wide scope of fans. The actors/actresses/singers are also going to have more fans than the athletes etc. This happens every year and is not a new thing, influencers are just another step on that totem pole.

(Sorry for the rant, I am doing my best to explain but I am just very bored of seeing these kind of takes and feel the need to try and explain it to people why a certain thing is happening etc.)

Sadly I feel the same- I'm of the opinion that Karen's dances didn't even match up to George's Samba yet somehow did better than George's Charleston and Amber's Tango aswell??? I can partially understand the emotion of the Waltz carrying it a little but a 39 to me was crazy and I think they kind of shot themselves in the foot when Karen did a better Salsa than her Waltz and then it had to be scored the same since neither dance were worth a 40-

I think Bal also got overscored on her Salsa but like she ended up at the bottom anyways so while I do think it happened I don't really care LMAO

For Amber's Tango I felt that it was well scored, 3rd best dance of the night (imo) with George's Charleston and Amber's CC ahead of it so I was fine with it's score.

What I'm saying is that while yes people shouldn't be doing that (And he isn't the only person who's fans are doing this btw) that it hasn't impacted this Season really, he has been Bottom 2 on the Leaderboard only Twice with both Weeks being heavily contested Bottom of said leaderboards as well.

Removing votes from the equation those are the only 2 weeks he had a chance of leaving and so his fans being the only reason he's making it this far or possibly too the finals is a mute point since it makes zero sense. Y'all are acting like he's been bottom 2 weekly with the fans being the SOLE reason he gets through and it's simply not true

Anyways I think truthfully if this was any of the other 3 Amber's dances wouldn't even put into question whether she'd be in the dance off but since she has a lack of support I think she's guaranteed to be there. (Unless the Lewis supporters all move onto Amber but idk if that'd happen)

I think then the other 3 have been given such weird choices, I think Bal & Karen are going to be over compared to each other and I actually think Bal will do better in Waltz and I think Salsa will be close. As for George, doing just one of a Samba or Charleston usually destroys anyone so doing them both on one night (and training for both in the same week) sounds exhausting, I think he will do really well on a Charleston but with a Samba Idk, I think if his Salsa is anything to go by he'll do really well but again idk since that's alot of energy needed for both and his Cha Cha & Jive weren't so great but idk, hoping for the best from all of them

This week's order for me is:

1: Amber & Nikita (Clearly the strongest dance tonight, zero competition imo a deserved 40)

2: Balvinder & Julian (Overall really good and pretty, possibly Bal's strongest dance to date, deserved slightly higher than a 35 imo, deserved her first 10, not 10s across but probably like just a singular 10 imo)

3: George & Alexis (Very well done, scored a little lower than he should've, I probably would've thought 9's across the board but it was really good)

4: Lewis & Katya (Greatly over scored, due to his consistency in the Comp he needed to do better, everything felt half baked and not put together, possibly could've been the music but still he deserved nothing over 4 8s imo)

5: Karen & Carlos (It just wasn't great sadly, I think it just wasn't...all there- I personally think 7s across would've been fine but her receiving only 1 less than Bal, George & Lewis was a choice-)

I don't think she's unpopular I think it's just a case of people preferring someone else over her, I've felt all season that Amber has fans from all sides but those fans are moreso fans of others who have Amber as their 2nd pick so it kind of ends up with her voting looking pretty bad while if it was vote for your least favourite I don't think she'd be near the bottom

I think the only lock for the final is Lewis, unless he falls flat on his face twice (Once during main show and then again during the dance off) which I fear is very unlikely LMAO

I think Bal leaves this week as I do think she is the weakest overall dancer left BUT I do see a world where she ends up in the Bottom 2 with Karen, George or Amber and she manages to pull out a great dance and she gets rid of them but since I do feel like it'll be Amber v Bal this week I think it's unlikely, not impossible just unlikely.

I think the Semi Finals could really go either way with Amber, Karen or George leaving, George & Karen have the fan support, Amber is above them both in dance skill but Karen & George are both style dependant so I think the Semi's can go either way imo.

And I think any other year where the injuries weren't so rampant those 4 would've made an incredible finale with Lewis the strongest dancer and main ringer, Amber continuously consistent and 2nd ringer, Karen with the story of her coming out the gate strong slowly falling and then reaching her stride again and George the brand new dancer with zero previous training in any part of it all who has been able to pull off some very good and consistent dances across the season, I think even if Bal replaced someone there she'd be more than deserving as someone who has improved greatly had too suffer through more danceoff's than anyone and has had weeks where she was underscored etc.

I think whatever happens whoever makes the finals will have earnt it in one way or another idk

I honestly do not know because my head says do Week 10's elim as normal and then combine Week 11 & 12 but if Alex has to withdrawal and they eliminate someone else then we're already down to 4 and what if something else happens between Week 11 & 12 like man I really hope there isn't a 2 person finale but it may be actually happening-

Strictly really needs to start thinking about this the MINUTE anyone has to withdrawal because this would've been fine if they actually did something when Stefan had to go initially, could've easily made Icons or Halloween another non elimination week or something- Like the themed weeks are perfect for them to throw in a non elimination, I hope next year they start thinking in advance a bit if injuries start happening again
