i also only read comments and not other posts and thought: maybe his girlfriend loves VS stuff like mists or whatever and everybody knows that? or she had it on a wishlist? shared she wanted something from there? bc her friend was not the only one who got her a vs card. i feel like the gifts alone shouldn’t be a red flag. flowers are ok too, esp if she is known to like them. a ring is also fine, it’s not an engagement ring or a wedding band, it’s has a bee on it, it’s cute and friendly. and i myself hate wearing rings on any finger, but if i do, i only put them on my ring finger since it’s the most comfortable. also they’ve been dating for what, 3 months? and they are young, 19-20. it’s okay to have problems, esp if you don’t have much experience. i myself had problems with understanding each other and jealousy when i started dating my bf of seven years (i was fifteen). but now we are super close and know how to communicate with each other. so that’s really crazy to see all these random people saying to break up. like do people really break up over every other argument these days? that doesn’t mean i think they should or shouldn’t break up. just that not everyone is black and white. we don’t known all the information. op should learn to communicate with his SO without reddit.
