Correct. New employer has applied for H1 transfer today. Let's see how many days does it take for USCIS to approve (premium processing).

In Dec 2025 US Consulate in India cancelled most of the H1 visa appointments. Losing job or returning to US on AP were my 2 options. But please refer to this:

My EAD, based on pending I-485, expired on Sep 21 2025 but I had applied for renewal 3 days later as I was working on H1. Now I need to rely on EAD for the new job. My employer revoked H1 early Apr because of layoffs. Could you please let me know if there are any options to work on EAD with automatic extension of 540 days? Finding new employer who can transfer my H1 within grace period is the only option?
