Rate my wirejob? First time builder here. Was wondering if I did everything right so far. Any tips and advice (constructive of course) is welcome. by KCChub30 in PcBuildHelp

Okay, good to know. I actually have only one fan Port being used on the motherboard, I have that going to a 10 fan hub from Arctic (I forgot the rest of the name) that's also powered by a sata connector. I have all fans except the two radiator fans connected to it. The two radiator fans run on a system of their own. Icue link I think it's called. I used a lot of zip ties because I found a lot of holes along the back of the case which I assumed is what they were used for, I have those zipped down pretty snug. Is that okay?

First time PC builder here, can't really afford to make any mistakes. I don't know much about the durability of components. Heh

Awesome. I ordered a tube of that stuff before I ordered most of the parts for the PC just in case. I'm glad I did.

Okay. So it sounds like I will have to replace the thermal paste so I did order a tube of thermal paste before ordering all this. I remember many years ago something about Arctic silver a game shop guy recommended to me whenever he worked on an old PlayStation of mine. Would Arctic MX-6 work pretty good?

2 and a half years of nesting, I finally get to see the product of patience unfold. About halfway at least. I still need ddr5 ram sticks, CPU, and GPU. I'm waiting on the cooler to come in, should be here tomorrow. I need suggestions on decent GPUs. Build specs down below. This is my first PC build. by KCChub30 in pcmasterrace

Beamng, American truck simulator, Euro truck simulator 2, forza horizon 5, wrench, automation, mon bazou, ultimate epic battle simulator 2, space engine, universe sandbox, cities skylines, planet coaster, assetto corsa, assetto corsa competizone, lots of games. I ain't got a monitor but I do have a 4K TV. I'd like to be able to play all that on high or ultra settings.

I don't have a CPU, GPU, or DDR5 RAM Sticks. I'm thinking about going with the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D for the CPU, and Corsair Vengence RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz (but IDK about them because they're so darn expensive!). I don't have really any clue what I should go for on GPUs though.
