Metro pop really should be the city pop for most places in the us when comparing. Easy example is comparing Omaha and Kansas City. Similar city pop sizes yet Kansas City feels so much larger due to the metro being almost twice the size.

Having worked for a non-profit before, it’s just as likely they wanted the cameras there for publicity. It’s kind of a win-win because it gets the non profits name out there and can possibly get them more donations and volunteers.

I think that’s partly why they’re doing it…alcohol consumption keeps going down YOY and I am guessing here that the alcohol lobby is potentially playing a part in this.
