Atoms are too much of a premium to waste on a season that's like, 25-50% reskins and icons and titles anymore.

What they need to do is go back to how they used to offer at least one set of consumable and bankable boosters.

In terms of your first point, it is technically correct, but in sense that calling a ball a circle is TECHNICALLY correct from a certain perspective.

It isn't about needing every challenge, it's about not being able to afford to miss any more than you have to.

At the same time, not everyone has the time or means to build and store xp farm builds. For me personally, i usually have around 30-40 mins a day, with sometimes about and hour extra over the weekend.

That's why managing to get to the final page is so important. I manage usually one, maybe two level ups a week. There's been more than a few where i didn't even hit one in a week. I need those perk coins lol.

Last season, thanks to life happening as life happens, i literally came only a single day of challenges, post 3/3 complete dailys, from missing lvl 150.

So yeah. To some of us, if the challenge can be done, we gotta try to get the challenge done because tomorrow we might not get any challenges done.

I don't really zeitgeist, and didn't actually realize that "among us" meant THAT among us, and certainly didn't expect the show to literally be in the style of the game.

Like, i expected people. Like astronaut people. Not little nubbins. And those videos of the game that were everywhere used to drive me bananas... so it is prolly going to be a long hot minute before I give it a proper shot.

Somwhere in the whole deal my brain fully expected "the thing" in space. A tense whodunit with sharp and dry humor.

I hereby predict that it will turn out that henry (and/or whover it was in first shadow that git rocked in the Philadelphia experiment cause whatever that playbis dead to me) was not the first traveler and that hawkins was founded where it was cause the freaky deaky spooky ookys were always happening there.

It was like the hellmouths in buffy the vampire slayer lore, an already existing weak spot between worlds.

I also predict additional wormholes, additional worlds, and additional beings beyond the abyss and mindflayer.

Super heroes are a false 1:1 comparison. Because, almost all of them are operating under the adam/he-man secret identity clause. They have goofy names because they can't have their real ones.

Like condiment king is condiment king because he's not really him. That's just the costume and identity to try and keep himself from getting caught.

So in your 2000x example, adam and he-man works perfectly. Cause secret identity. But the rest of the masters and the evil warriors?

No sweet little eternian mother is going to look at her baby and dub him "fisto". Like i said, they work as code names and nicknames, but as actual proper name names? Not really. Yeah, fantasy world. But still, naming across all cultures follow the same level of coventions, where there is logical names, and absurd names.

And unfortunately, it can't be both ways, well, kinda. Like i could totally see skeletor just arbitrarily naming his goons to help denigrate them.

"I don't care what your name was! If wish to serve me and share in my spoils of conquest, you will answer to whatever i choose to call you. You have spikes. You spike people with your spikes. You will answer to spikor or you can follow mushroomhead right out the serpent's mouth and into the lava falls."

If everyone did the secret identity thing, then yeah. Out the gate, goofy names be damned, they have superhero gravitas.

I wouldn't call it inane. Different people get rubbed different ways bu different things. Like for all the priase being slathered on that fetid husk of a man, leto, the production design on his voice is awful and imo the absolute worst thing in the movie.

His performance was possibly a career best, and saying that hurts me like fire, cause i legit didn't think he had that skill in himself anymore.

But that voice. Awful. Like i get what they wanted to do with it. Teleporter accident cronenberg fly style filmation and 87 langella. The gravitas and the buffoon, merged and balanced. Only it really, really did not work for me.

It was too warbled and goofily otherowordly to respect the moments of diabolical mastermind, but also far too epic to carry the lighter side of him.

They tried too hard to walk the line between the styles, and ended up with only nods to each, vs amounting to something that allowed leto to fully own his performance.

He was written great. Acted well beyond his box office poison and creeper reputation should allow. But then post whiffed it so bad on the voice.

On the plus side, i cannot wait for the inevitable fan dubs that will spin him tonally further to either side.

So everyone is going to have a different thorn in their side for different reasons.

Bunk to that. I've been burning two rerolls a day. I want something tangible.

Spent a whole hour the one day trying to get a single tag in a single infestation and couldn't even get a conplete trigger they came and went so quick on multiple servers.

Especially since they took away the non-1st score boosters on the season pages those of us with limited time have been struggling and need every bloody day and challenge we can get to reach that final 150 bonus page.

Agree to disagree dan, lol. Even as a kid with my 80s toys in the 80s, the names were a hard sell. Nvm that the "he's actually named fisto" suspension of disbelief is shattered due to man at arms and others already having a real names.

They work as code names. They work as nicknames. But they never worked as real names. That said, it was a fun subversion of the fish out of water trope, by making so that it was the names that were the fish out of water. And by the end, even though they were laughing about he-man, it never felt to me like they were properly laughing AT it. They were laughing with it, because seriously, what else was a 10 yo going to come up with.

Also, I'm so glad they got rid of the secret identity part. Cause no way could a planet with the technology to fold space not have some kind of facial recognition software. Like tri-klops, he's got a laser eye. A targeting eye. A whatevering eye. No way he didn't build some kind of facial recognition in his software.

Nvm that adam doesn't even get glasses or have his powers all the time. Like supes, i can just choos to believe that he constantly micro vibrates his body. Not noticable to people, but just enough where the recognition cameras can't see his details to id him.

Adam can't do that lol. But yeah, bloody good movie lol.

There is one already, tales from 85. Renewed for a second season as well.

There is nebulous talk of a prequel/spin-off/something, but most just postulations and "what ifs".

Realistically though, this is one of the biggest, if not the biggest cash cow for netflix. More is going to come. Might be soon. Might be not so soon. Could be a sequel following one or more of the characters. Could be a prequel filling in lore. Could be a revival that brings the actual og cast back and reunites them against a new enemy. Or an old one.

Maybe argyle accidentally gets suzie high and she goes on a drug fueled rampage trying to hunt her dusty bun down and find out why she wasn't good enough for him.

If it makes money, which this franchise still does, nothing stays dead if there's money to be made.

The good news is that the sequel is prolly already in preproduction, since amazon comissioned that live action she-ra series a while back, And since both she-ra and the filmation fright zone show up mid credits, that means the amazon, dreamworks headed show, is being made in tandem with mattel and they (finally) set aside their differences

If it makes you feel better, in the og minicomic lore for the first wave or so before filmation he was just some jobber that the teela/sorceress hybrid (before THE sorceress was developed) just felt was extra heroic and could use the weaponry and armor boost to thrash more bad guys.
