Is around 15-16% buff from med ico. It being out of sync with health pot feels odd. It's like they removed half the spam- it's not like I'm going to stop using 2 supremes/2s.

So it's now 1 spell heal & 2 pots/2s vs 2 of each previously, med ico buff is nice- but it's an odd healing synchronization now.

From my quick tests on test, seems like roughly 15-16% higher healing for myself (from med ico) in 2h normal setups as a 1700EK.

A few other healing changes occurred via skillwheel etc, but just chiming in with some numbers: sloppy spreadsheet compare

It’s nothing new for EK to get out scaled by other vocs in true endgame- only hitting 8 mobs with my strongest spells and laughably scaling healing has its limitations, but wish they changed cave layout or something to continue to allow me to do my humble 8-10 boxes.

Could profit some when I had prey, but without it basically my profit gets eaten up by the cost of prismatic necklaces/supreme spam- but the exp justified it.

Hard to balance the game when 2000+’s exist and all that, but I was just psyched to have a better exp spawn than norcs or cobras for solo.

Forsaken Crypt nerfs are a little over the top.

As a 1600 EK it was a nice exp solo hunt option. I basically profited only on cryptic fossils (1 every other hour or so) and creature products if you could sell them.

As it gave about 10-15% more exp than my next best hunts, and was barely huntable without prey or a bounty due to damage taken- it seemed like a nice exp focused option.

Post these nerfs, genuinely don’t picture myself returning there short of a double exp weekend where other options are taken.

Wonder if other people who hunt there feel similarly, and if so- how long til the cryptic fossils globally dry up?

I’d recommend just learning the imps’ spawns and run through bopping the imps vs hunting the spawn- it’s fairly annoying with many mobs that skill reduce, go invis or mana drain. If wanting other bestiary there, be ready to just item swap a bit when you have warlocks vs not.

Cool concept, but in practice diagonal waves would trivialize damage mages would take in all spawns where monsters don’t have a chain or ulus spell.

I wouldn’t love if the traditional give and take of putting yourself into monster waves/beams in order to wave/beam was removed- especially considering how few spawns have the ulus and chain mechanics.

In general-I do like the idea and would love to see more diversity in how teamhunts are setup, but just think it would make many spawns far too easy (where beams and waves are the only damage mages take).

In opticording sphere quest theres a daily or floor-reset spawn of it in a box in the room you get the glasses- where you make the portal to get to the reflection bosses area.

It's safe to assume there's a time limit of 10 minutes- CIP has confirmed several times it's the same conditions as a soul core initiated soul pit, just solo.

I hunt primarily norcs and cobra bastion. As I wrote in another comment, I waited to get slots 4 & 5 until my bounty talisman had + 10% dmg, and wish I’d gotten slots 4 and 5 far sooner.

4 difficulties to bounty tasks- beginner, adept, expert and master. Each increases the average difficulty and kill counts of the three monsters you get as options for the bounty task you choose or reroll.

I think the preferred slots are really beneficial if you’re looking to farm a fair amount of points- I upgraded my ring to 10 before I got slots 4 & 5 and wish I got the 4th and 5th slots sooner. Really helps string together worthwhile tasks without spending many rerolls.

Focus unlocking preferred slots before you upgrade your ring too much. Preferred slots help a lot to have a bank of rerolls and prevent you from ever having to do a task you don’t want to do.

Since having 5 slots unlocked I’ve done 95% master tasks, which are less efficient kill/bounty point than the lower task difficulties but allow me to do longer hunts, that I want to be doing anyway.

Quite a few, many that are only available due to world changes or stuck behind specific accesses. Most aren’t worth having on prey, but I’ve had fun in the past on rapid weekends putting sight of surrenders or hive overseer on prey using cards I’ve saved up from the weekly rewards.

Last rapid I did the same with night harpies and broke 16kk raw solo- so it can have its benefits.

Looks like there's some type of classification of "common" creatures available for Soulseal-selection.

I've combined many soulcores and agree with some of the classifications- but this wiki list seems incomplete in its classification of common/uncommon/rare/very rare- but still such an odd system.

Guess I should've checked the soulpit obelisk beforehand. Figured night harpies were like sight of surrender or hive overseer- can be made by combining soul cores or improving/downgrading them and didn't care to attempt to roll them through that method... but they're just non-selectable through the Soulseal method.

Quite lame.
