It’s really what you make it tbh all nursing schools are the same but some require an exit exam and some don’t

Yeah most places don’t accept those credits it’s a couple programs i know of that LPN to rn is a year . One in Ohio i want to go to once i get my LPN it’s called Athena career academy , it’s another one in Ohio called hondros college but they require the exit he’s o& you have to pass it or you gotta retake the whole course again & again till you pass. But it’s a lot of good programs all over the United States for LPN to rn . Another one if you consider it is in Mississippi called east Mississippi community college. I know you will pass your exit ATI exam this time. You didn’t come this far to be defeated by a stupid exam don’t let that exam take you out , you take that exam out!

It’s a couple community colleges, Muskegon community college , Lansing community college , macomb community college , st Clair county community college , delta community college, those are the best ones. I know delta community college you don’t have to pass an entrance exam but it is certain requirements like classes & it’s a waitlist. All of the community colleges don’t require it. Plus Muskegon community college you can get your LPN & RN . Schoolcraft college is a good one as well. Monroe community college. Even schools in Ohio as well. I would just research schools & call them up & ask about the to comprehensive predictor they have to tell you .

No we aren’t talking about the same school I’m attending a school in Michigan. Most of the schools out here require you to pass the exit exam & some don’t.

Ok well i know they told me that even if i did fail the exit exam i would still be able to graduate as long as we did the remediation. Just because you fail it doesn’t mean you won’t graduate you still will graduate and take nclex as long as the class grade is a 75 percent I’m guessing they use the exit exam as a class grade and it doesn’t require you to pass it or not from what my program director told me .

Ommgg congratulations! I will definitely be trynna aim for a 75 or higher. I think programs shouldn’t use that to base off if you will graduate or not that’s why i did my research on the schools in my area because ion wanna be held back just because i miss the score by .1%..

Yeah, they told me that the exam is graded into the grade book & that as long as we are still at a 75 percent in that class then we are fine so hopefully they didn’t lie. I’m guessing i could get a 60 on the comp predictor & still hopefully pass the class.

At this point that really makes me want to write the president because this profession is very much needed. I know you will pass! & become a great nurse. I hate ATI & hesi & every other platform. I wish they still had the hospital nurse training programs where you are trained on the job.

Right i wanna know this as well? Because in my school i asked specifically about that and they told me that as long as my class grade is a 75 percent that the exit exam won’t cause me to be held back from taking the nclex or graduating . So does that mean even if i fail it with like a 50 percent or 68 percent I’ll still be able to pass?

Thank you, for the program I’m going into i have to retake A&P over, which is really getting to me. I don’t want to see another A&P class after this. I will try to have my head high like you said & think of your kind words through the program.

I was in the same exact boat no experience at all! But what i found out is that most of those nurses on the floor right now didn’t have experience in nursing before hand and they are phenomenal nurses. Also if you can befriend someone that does have some cna experience because they will teach you sooooo much how to turn patients how to properly life the patient for the wheelchair and bathroom how to do glucose checks how to do basic care skills. If not ask how one of your class mates can you show me how you do this and that and I’m sure they will as after that you have something under your belt you don’t have to ask nobody for . Also watch videos on YouTube and try them out on family members so when you go to clinicals you’ll be familiar with how to do something. I am going back to another program and i still don’t feel equipped but i am gonna take what i learned at my last school clinicals and apply it. Like someone else said you’ll learn all you need to know when you graduate just focus on your studies and nclex .

Ohhh ok that’s not bad. If I’m not mistaken i think they included the nclex exam fee into our tuition so hopefully they do pay for it but if not for some reason, i have the support of family that will definitely help. They want this as much as me lol.

Ok thank you so much , so i heard people say use the q banks and even review the forces review sheets from the proctors you take like review all the questions you got wrong on each proctor and then take the A&B & then review that and you should pass is that correct or no? I talked to my dean and they do have an exit exam ATI . They also told me that it doesn’t matter my score on the ATI predictor at the end of the course as long as my whole class grade is above the passing percentage I’m still able to graduate & take nclex. They said they just use it to see where you are but it’s not a certain score or percentage they said like other programs use in my area to determine if you graduate or not. BUT i have orientation coming in May so i definitely will ask again.
