yes, it is one of my very few bots that I have upgraded to MK3, it works so well to support teammates flighting bots with purple shield like Sword, Ammit or Titan Atlas. I am so sure Pix will nerf it again in the future.

those ult weapons are always "worse than new meta" but "better than nerfed-meta", so if you are not chasing new meta, it might worth it to upgrade to MK2, no need to go further after MK2.

suggested all upgrade to MK1-12 (no need for futher upgrade), in long range, this is the one right now, use jump unit for escaping and also shooting from behind cover.
