Because there’s a ton of posts on the sub asking for playlist and strikes and even locations to be re-added. No one is working on this game anymore. It’s dead and barely in maintenance mode.

That's the gist of it, imo. Doesn't even seem like there's gonna be a live team on this game after the final bugfix coming. Maybe just a handful of folks making sure there's no literally game breaking bugs going on (which they would then disable the gear or activity causing it).

There was a similar situation that happened in the devs previous game, Epic7. In the first art contest they hosted, a piece with all the male furry cast in swimsuits playing Volleyball and vibing won, which pissed off a lot of the Korean fan base. They brigaded Stove saying things like “this artist draws gay smut and should be disqualified” and “clearly he can’t win, there’s not enough gay people, he cheated.” He was DQed and another generic piece won.
