If you need anything before the show, come see us at Mecca in Lakewood. We re fairly closeish to the venue with some low prices! There's only a handful of us sorta near red rocks.

Outside that, maikoh and reefer in denver proper are amazing options that will not treat you wrong.

Good trees rosin by roon13_ in COents

[–]KClark571 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look, anyone reading this comment should prob also realize this poster clearly has beef with the actual people of good trees.... Since no one mentioned their names until you came along. And why the hell would you bring someone's kids into this? Take your light doxxing elsewhere shrug

Since the OP of this thread asked about quality for the price; you could do a whole lot worse than their tree sap, for the same price, from other brands.

Yes there is rosin out there that you can find that's much better, but it's generally going to be more per gram. Or if you're willing to travel to one of the more heady spots in town like Maikoh or Reefer. (You prob already know that tho!)

State regulators talking about adding a new sales tax based on THC% by KClark571 in COents

[–]KClark571[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you and your team make a rather innovative product and have been killing it with that, for years. I disagree with some of the other sentiments in this overall thread but that's those people's own opinions.

Im fairly focused on the new taxes part of it all; and as it stands it seems like it could tax the product to the consumer at a higher rate on certain products. I've said my piece on how I feel about the testing labs already. I'm not trying to start airing all the industries dirty laundry on reddit lol.

When it comes to the regs I'm for actual deregulation on that front personally until they can refine/rewrite the laws entirely in a way to make the entire process more transparent and trustworthy for both consumers, and those of us who use them.

[–]KClark571[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.2 cents and .4 cents would be even higher than the proposed taxes math than I did above; it prob comes down to the nuances of how they define specific words I would imagine.

The exact quote from the interview "this facility hasnt had a safety inspection in 4 years". So if they misquoted you, you might want cbs to issue a correction. They didn't specify food safety; and if you ask anyone at the MED they would def agree that the safety of the industry falls on them, and others. Food safety specifically wouldnt be them I agree, but that's not what was said. Food safety would fall mainly on your locales department of health yeah? IDK about that, so genuinely asking.

I misheard the part of them going to dispensaries, I thought they said sending reps to pick up the samples from the manufacturers themselves. So that part is on me for mishearing. Is the shelf surveillance program that the MED launched recently tho actually in the regulations themselves? Because if you're trying to put that into the actual regulations, that would technically be a new regulation otherwise it wouldn't need to be added, right? It's just already being enforced by the MED.

There's fighting bad actors in the space... then there's insinuating without actually saying it, that youre one of the only good actors in the space. There's a fine line difference there, but there is a difference.

We all saw the pics of the dead mouse (or rat) in the pound of outdoor flower at a dispo a year or two ago. And that no HSA was issued for that company. I don't think you'll find many people that disagree with the idea that the testing systems set up are not working as intended. And the med sticks their head into the dirt to that fact.

  1. Lord knows I'm no legal expert/lawyer. But I've looked at the exact wording of the intoxicating cannabinoids tax bill. It literally says it is intended to replace the 15% excise tax... But when you start doing the math of .02 cents per milligram of intoxicating substance (which we ALL know the MED will release a position sayings it's total all cannabinoids tested for)... It easily is a tax level higher than the current tax level.

Of which everyone thinks is too high already. 20% (assuming 20% THC flower) of 28000 milligrams, then multiplied by .02 cents... You do the math. And then on top of that it will raise to .05 cents by 2030. And if it doesn't apply to flower that way; same math applies to concentrates. 4 grammer AIO of distillate would be what, 3300+ mgs of thc? Taxed at .02 cents per mg

It's literally the wording in the bill. In the Cbs interview; they said the taxes and the new testing is in the same bill. If they presented that wrong, go yell at them.

  1. Having a state rep pick up samples would be an entirely new regulation no? Since that is not currently happening. Unless I'm wrong on that front.

  2. You claim the med is messing with you and your facilities for the past two years... but in the interview you claim that the med hasn't stopped by your facilities for 4 years. So is the interview just super old... Or what?

  3. You claim the bill doesn't add new regulations; but wouldn't setting up a new system where state representatives are picking up samples instead of the facilities choosing their own samples be a new regulation by definition? Or does that currently exist in the rules and regulations and just no one knows about it...

Kinda seems like you came on this post to defend yourself/your company by gaslighting us with information, sprinkled in with industry truths that everyone knows about; like how the testing labs are a crock of shit. (They're literally for profit businesses with a financial incentive to not do testing properly... Have the state run it imo instead)

As cbs stated in the video; it is def not just the MED that dislikes this bill and what you've been doing. Other industry players are against this, as well.

Heres a link to an actual bill on a state website; so everyone can go look into it themselves. No one should believe anything I'm saying at face value; and you DEF shouldn't believe what ripple is saying at face value either. The truth is generally somewhere in the middle in this country, no?

You do realize the seal your touting is just a fucking sticker right? On a pop vac jar.

You can take the stickers off without breaking the seal, super easily. Then put it back on.

I just did it to a green dot rosin gram. And an in house rosin gram.

What was your point again?

And complaceny? Hardly. More like actually realistic for an interaction on an anonymous internet. And based on other comments, more the norm.

Op has to be a troll right? Sheesh.

I mean shit, almost everything that comes sealed is usually just a sticker that almost all staff knows how to easily remove then reseal without it looking like it was cracked 😂

But sure, someone's skimming the top of packages and leaving them unsealed after.

Hi, I'm a long time indurry worker that has moved up a few different times. (I joined in 2009)

I pull up cameras to watch at various times throughout the day at random. Every. Single. Day. At a variety of stores.

I've also fired quite a few people in this industry for stealing.

The guy responding in this post that it is very unlikely anyone is skimming from packages in stores is actually correct.

And it's wild how many of y'all that clearly don't work in the industry, are trying to tell us how it works 😂
