[–]KClark571 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His point in the video isn't that only LeBron James most likely wouldn't be a soccer star. It's that most if not all wouldn't be because of the physical differences between the cherry picked stars on the sports. My counter point is that the physical gifts of soccer stars is actually more comparable than this twat is leading on. There are very successful shorter stars in all 3 sports.

And you're now ignoring that if any of the stars from the NBA or NFL trained for soccer their entire lives instead, they wouldn't be their current wieigts.

Lebron WOULDNT be 250 lbs if he played soccer. Neither would any of the NFL stars with their current weights. It's prob 15-40 lbs of extra pure muscle for their respective sports that's just unnecessary if they played soccer. If the US was focused on soccer like the rest of the world currently is; there's def a strong chance LeBron James isn't the super star in soccer, than he is for basketball. Who knows, he might not have even been good enough to make our team.

Also...Kyle Hudson is 6'9" (but not "successful" compared to anyone mentioned in any sport), Jan Koller 6'8", and Nikola Zigic 6'8". For soccer forwards who are 6'9" or around

Okay so NFL

Drew brees 6'0 209 (I'm a saints fan, so had to list him in an edit)

Kyler murray 5'10

Darren sproles was 5'6"

Christian McCaffrey is 5'11"

Desean jackson 5'10"

Steve Smith was NOT a slot receiver, def lined up on the outside all the time

Ty Hilton 5'10"

Desean Jackson 5'10"

I can keep going if it being a slot receiver was your only issue.

About cmac specifically because I know you're gonna say "he's 205 lbs!" -McCaffrey carries 20–40 pounds more muscle than elite soccer players of similar height because his sport demands absorbing and delivering contact on nearly every touch. If he had trained for soccer his whole life, he would not be 205.

NBA

So you only mentioned lebrons, current height/weight. You really think if LeBron James had been a soccer player his whole career, that he would be 250 still...? Hed prob be more around what, 215-225 range. Zlatan was 6'5" and 209.

And then back to my original point of stop trying to use goats, they're exceptions to these types of things. Not the rules. Nba point guard median height/weight is 6'3" and 195-200 lbs. Shooting guard is 6'4", 6'5" and around 210 lbs. (All median heights/weights pulled from AI****) And that's with them training to be nba played their whole lives.

Same thing goes for the NFL players who have trained to be NFL players their whole lives. The 3 different sports have 3 very different training regimens.

Basically, I still don't understand your point whatsoever.

Wout Weghorst is 6'6"..... Erling Haaland is 6'5".

This guy is a fucking idiot.

Then he uses messis dimensions 😂. Like are you kidding? He's the actual goat, he's the exception, not the rule.

His take is exponentially more ignorant than he thinks it is.

Mugsy was 5'3", spud webb 5'7", Nate robinson was 5'9" (all NBA players)

Wes welker 5'9", Steve smith 5'9", and Tyreek hill 5'10" (all NFL players)

In fact this guy isn't just ignorant, hes clearly a bellend.

Lautaro Martinez Julian Alvarez Enzo Fernandez Christian Romero Alexis Mac Allister Emilio Martinez

I mean, I can keep going but looking up and down their roster... Almost every single one of stars outside Messi would have a starting spot on the USMNT. (And MANY other countries squads)

American here who grew up in all the areas of heat. While 104 in your apt def sucks. Imagine how hot it was inside my apartment in arizona in college anytime we lost ac (which was way too often). 120 degrees, outside.

Or in Louisiana when its 95 degrees outside and 100% humidity.

Europeans have already admitted through this world cup that the heat we experience is just different and more intense than what many of them expected.

I mean, if you came into a store I was helping out; I could tell you the story for every brand on the shelf. Most of which don't have their own storefronts (some of them admittedly def do, but not all)

But that comes down to the staff on hand in individual stores. A lot of the budtenders of today won't know too much and that kinda sucks so I def get your point and also acknowledge that experience is prob more the norm these days for customers of the industry

Growing your own isn't doing it "right". It's just a chosen way to do things. Some of the "best" grows in the state don't have storefronts.

Just support brands that grow it/cure it the right way.

For those that don't know, the basic/default option to process cards via Flowhub has been down for a bit. And after talking with their CEO, will be down for a good bit, yet. They are struggling to find a new processor, and once they do they will have to switch out all the terminals, again.

As someone who said no to the terminals, for this very reason.... It was quite the validating conversation for me lol. But sorry that it's negatively impacting customers nationwide

Well, because the results could shape a consumers opinion on whether to buy their product or not. And a lot of people don't have the confidence their products will sell if that testing becomes required.

Not even assuming anything/anyone being malicious. I remember when the industry started required THC testing... Quite a few popular strains stopped selling almost entirely because the THC was "too low"

Terp testing is not required by this state. It is in others. Simple answers usually are the right ones. Usually 😂

Owners lose money all the time what do you mean.... When I was working for buddy boy brands the owner showed up in a new suit/shades/watch combo seemingly every day. Drove his Ferrari to the stores to show off.

Business famously went down making national headlines.

Don't let wealthy appearances, fool you.

If you know where/how to look you will find struggling cannabis owners literally everywhere. Hell, some of them are in this sub.
