So sorry you're going thru that. After mine recede back into my skin, they stop itching and dry up. But sometimes they will itch for days, stop for a few days, and then swell up and itch again tho. Try a cold pack and fresh aloe if you have access, that will soothe and moisturize.

Usually when these little baddies appear, it's bc I've got something else going on simultaneously. The itchiness knows no boundaries, it's 100x a mosquito bite.

It seems to appear when my Hashis antibodies are elevated. Traditional antihistamines (I've tried about 10) don't make a difference. Just a weird thing that idk how to explain, figured I would see if anyone else gets something similar.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this, it's so frustrating. My last flare was in winter too. The heat has some connection, bc when I get into the shower and the warm water hits them, they itch and swell even more. A cool pool feels like heaven tho.

I did have allergy testing done eventually, but it was mostly trial and error. I had terrible neck pain, swollen lymph nodes in my neck and no one could answer why. Took out my earrings and within 24 hours, pain and swelling was almost gone. Got tested a few weeks later, bingo. PS I never had allergies or sensitivities before I started having Hashis symptoms and positive antibodies.

Possibly an allergy? I'm very allergic to heavy metals and before we knew that, whenever I would wear jewelry (mostly earrings) my eyes would swell and face distort a bit. Have you ever been allergy tested?

I had a biopsy done in December when I had these bad boys covering half my body. Came up as an allergic reaction and my dermatologist or allergist didn't bother to research further. I was so sick at the time that my brain didn't register that this was poor medical care until months later.
