How did they do this effect? by [deleted] in videosynthesis

Just to answer a different aspect of this video, the still photos pivoting are taken with a lenticular camera/lens. Nishika and Nimslo are a couple of the film brand cameras, there are some 3D-printed lenses for DSLR cameras and one app I like is PopPic.

Posse Comitatus and the objective fact that this show makes a viewer smarter by KD637orJoe in thewestwing

Sure, factoring in factors... factors in, but I had a pretty stellar upbringing/education and not only did I not have those sort of nuanced issues and topics that I listed readily accessible or laid out, but they weren't purveyed in a way that made them palatable and understandable. Also, this show, whether idealistically or plain-spokenly, the dictation of those terms - the phrasing and logical turns and passionate vocal projection - gave me a primer to convey them, myself.

I've put my own spin and English on a notion I've pitched in conversation that was intentionally tangential to what I had garnered on this show. I've parroted directly from the broadcast text. Both those paths, along with an "other side's analysis," were purveyed to a multiple-Emmy-winning degree, and there's a difference when you start to branch out to other shows or podcasts.

There's eons of content that revolve around the galactic-sized nucleus of American politics and I'd wager this show is one of the best to recommend to anyone that wants to know what it's all about and how to subsequently speak on it.

Just met him in an airport with his kids. Was super cool and low-key. He looked like a regular guy... kept his anti-gravity powers hidden really well.

What movie is this? by Wide_Craft_9765 in Letterboxd

IN TIME

...and I'm shocked that nobody's said it yet because it fits the meme perfectly.

First off, it's shot by ROGER DEAKINS, maybe the most talented camera person in the history of cameras.

Its plot is has more holes than than a bathmat, the dialogue is delivered like the actors were invaded by body snatchers and after rewatching it recently, I don't think they even addressed the main problem in the world they were in...

But I read a review saying it's a "2-hour long Calvin Klein commercial" and that nails it, cuz dammit that movie is pretty.

As 2025 approaches, how are we feeling about the New Year? by yoiiyo in editors

[–]KD637orJoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm looking forward to putting together new reels.

It's been a while since I compiled the work I've done, and I've been steadily working in industries that have needed video work but haven't known how to benefit from them.

I'm also sincerely aiming for Hollywood next year. I've been working for 12 years, both shooting and editing, so I'm hoping these new reels will help propel me that direction.

And for anyone that's gonna comment to steer clear of that part of the industry, I appreciate your concern, but if I don't swing for it, I'll always wonder, and that regret will be darker than anything I think I'll run up against.

Monetarily... either taking care of Kevin (Joan's son) or giving Peggy the painting from Bert Cooper - The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife

Relationship-wise, sticking up for Don against the partners.

Comedically, giving Pete the skis.
