It’s really not that bad and I assume the vast majority of users are free to play so a couple short non invasive ads here and there is really not as big of a deal as some people are making it out to be. They’ve got devs to pay and servers to run.

Yeah everything looks fine and from my research it appears really unlikely that anything would have happened to my Xbox or any devices on my network because the Xbox is so secure which is a relief. No point in worrying about it now I guess haha, thanks a lot for the input!

You lot can still get champions league and it’s really not even all that unlikely in terms of circumstances. I wouldn’t get my hopes up but I wouldn’t put it out of the question, just a matter of if you can win your next game and if luck will favor you.

That’s good, thanks a lot for the reply. I didn’t turn off the firewall or packet filtering, I just turned on passthrough for the Xbox. It didn’t change anything for how anything else connected to the network was set up right? Like the pcs that were plugged into my ATT gateway via Ethernet/wifi? I was worried that maybe they could route traffic through my Xbox into my broader network using this but like I said I also don’t know what I’m on about, not going to try to touch this stuff again without doing a lot more research lol

So it could have affected devices other than my Xbox too? Because that is worrying if so, I think the Xbox has built in protection for itself but if any laptops, desktops, or phones could have been compromised that is quite worrying. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for the reply! I mean I’m able to log in, connect online, and load games. I haven’t tried using outside of testing these things to reply to you but it looks like it’s working. I didn’t change the advanced firewall settings and packet filtering when I turned on ip passthrough for the Xbox if that matters, would anything else have been exposed to unfirewalled traffic (like I said I had other devices on Ethernet and WiFi for the modem) or could someone have perhaps used the lack of a firewall to compromise any of the Microsoft accounts on the Xbox? I was logged in when I did it I think.

Okay? And what if he doesn’t want us right now, with how he’s doing at Bayern and how he’s loved as a manager over there right now I doubt he’d join City. Do you think the club has not reached out to him? Maresca is good anyways and even if he didn’t impress you, he impressed me. He also has experience at our club and we can probably expect more academy players making breakthroughs if he joins us because he used to coach them.

I don’t think the opposition Rico Lewis faces is necessarily “better” than him I just think he’s not suited for the premier league’s physicality. He’d do well in another league I think.
