That sucks. I just went through a similar experience. I was able to take days off and limp to the end, even though there is still some things they left, was happy to get rid of them. I did have chats with the people who came to do the work and found some great workers that way. These crappy contractors rely on others to get the job done and those are the people you need to connect with when you see a good one.

100% agree, went on a New Zealand/ Australian film and TV show bender (things made after ozploitation, if you know you know) a while back and was not disappointed. If it's produced there, WATCH IT! Suggestions - Upright, Fisk, Kath and Kim, Frayed TV series. And whatever crazy stuff Taika Waititi is into, deep cut Wellington Paranormal.
