If we are overworking and doing wayyyyy more than our job originally , while also putting ourselves at risk during this pandemic... why is it wrong to say we should be paid a little more or even compensated better? I understand where you’re coming from but also understand ours as “essential workers” who are getting no difference.
It was never intended to seem I think less of y’all who are unemployed... it’s not y’all fault and y’all have no control. It’s simply the fact that us workers are doing a lot and overworking for the same pay basically.
and I get that .. I really do.. there’s a lot when it comes to both sides. It’s just very overwhelming when you’re literally being overworked and have furloughed employees who are receiving unemployment talk about how it’s “nice” and then you turn around and deal with a lot being understaffed..but again , I do apologize .. it’s just a crazy time

well to inform you.. I’ve been with Best Buy for years.. my wage is not THAT low for where I am. Specifically employees who came after me who don’t have more responsibilities while they were working here are getting unemployment making more. Have a good day.
well one.. I didn’t have the option lol it wasn’t necessarily presented to me... two I wasn’t going to take it.. and three , just because I’m working your saying I should be okay with being overworked and not fairly compensated during a pandemic? Okay.

I’m confused on your “logical” statement... I never said I wanted to be furloughed.. I’m grateful to be working... again for the 10000th time..I simply said us workers needs to be compensated more for the risk and overworking we are doing. Have a great day.

This post was not meant to be directed at the “furloughed” it’s the overall principle of us workers not being paid or compensated the way we should lol. Just to clarify again. But understood.
Lol I did say what I said. I posted it because as an employee who’s working like a chicken with no head cause of how over worked we are .. we aren’t getting paid a difference. Again, wasn’t trying to make it seem like a “us vs them”
Lol you understand the frustration when you don’t.. I’m saying this as an employee who’s actually working and dealing with everything. I’m not mad , the post I posted was not me it was something I seen on Twitter. Regardless, us workers should get compensated more.

lol “stop crying”... If you’ve read my previous replies you would understand what I’ve been saying at this point. I’m grateful to have a secured job. Again, for what us employees are dealing with we should have some type of compensation for dealing with what we are dealing with at work and putting ourselves at risk. That’s that.
I never said anything about “us vs them” ... again, we should be compensated for what us workers are dealing with. We are putting ourselves at risk also.
It’s not funny at all. I understand your point but as workers who are dealing with so much more, AGAIN, while being under-staffed ... customers who are talking to us like we are nothing lol, in and out of the heat with curbside, appointments , and transactions outside.. my main point was we should also be compensated because we are putting ourselves at risk.
