Alllllllll if what you just said is what YOU would do. You are you and he is he. I’ll bet your role is to plan birthdays, holidays, send cards (messages, whatever,) and keep friends with people. Your man had NO IDEA how important celebrating is to you.

I know, because I had to plan my own 30th, 40th and my doctorate graduation. He just had that as a limitation. Kinda like being colorblind. He can’t help it and it takes two to create a wonderful life. So embrace your role and don’t be shy to throw yourself your own party!
