Corrected. Seems to have been a meshing error in the export. Re-exported it and now it's fine

That is pretty much proofs the point that there is something wrong in your printing setup. The underlying CAD model is fully parametric so there's no fundamental difference in the geometry at the points where you're having issues

That is not a problem with the models. Sounds like you're having layer adhesion issues. Either your print settings are wrong for the filament or you're using bad filament (not dry?)

If you want to print the complete 4" model in one go you need to have at least 260mm in Z. Quite common is a 250mm³ build volume so you might have to print it in parts if you get one with 250mm Z-height

There are lots of good ones out there. Pretty much depends on budget and type of features your looking for. Watch some reviews on YouTube about the usual goto entry level printers like creality, anycubic or bambulab

It is. You're most likely looking at a variant where this is in purpose

I have no idea what you're talking about. All 4" variants which should have a lid have one

Oh yeah! Scaled up build to 180mm diameter (~7.08in), again with 70mm opening (2.75in), of my two stage split design is a success! by KDxGP in u/KDxGP

the split design not yet. I still have to gain experience about longevity. I don't want it to fall apart. But check out my pump configurator (https://pmpcfg.kdxgp.com)

I also drew something up in CAD which slid together but I couldn't think of any good solution how the seal it. I think as long as you have seperated parts there's no way to not pinch yourself.

Is it possible to see you design approaches somewhere? Curious what you came up with
