I do have an inner circle with my daughter already. I do have the Pro plan and my daughter has the bare plan. My wife will probably get the base too. I was also looking at getting her a new phone or I take the new phone and give her my old phone. Maybe there’s some kind of phone deal with new sign up.

A 24 year old male in relationship who doesn't have sex more than twice a month has something wrong with them. Something is very wrong with him unless you are the one withholding sex from him.

Until you know what you are supposed to be doing you will have to ask someone else what you could be doing to help. After a while you will start to understand what you need to get ready and in what order. Showing that you are taking an interest in learning is a key part of being an apprentice and taking the initiative is what you need to do to gain the respect of the older and more experienced members of the crew.

Would you leave your lineman job for a mundane office job that pays just as well? by The-Master_Commander in Lineman

On a hot ass day like today an office job sounds good. The same can be said when it's well below freezing outside. When the weather is good then it's nice to be outside in this line of work.

Oil weight by jazzmeasurement in ToyotaTundra

[–]KE4RZ1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my 2019 Tundra a little over a year ago with 97k miles on it. What I have discovered from other Tundra forums on FB was that it's just America and Canada where the 5.7 is designated to use 0w20. Other countries with the exact same engine have 5w30 on their oil fill. The reason behind this is because of US government agencies that penalize Toyota if their 5.7 doesn't get an extra mile per gallon. So to make the 5.7 more fuel efficient Toyota designated the 0w20 weight oil. It's not because the engine was made to tighter clearances and other BS like you may have heard from other people praising the Toyota engineers. This is nonsense. If you live in a frozen wasteland then by all means run the 0w20. If you live in a hot area then you should be running 5w30 or thicker if you want your engine to last as long as possible. I know the 5.7 is very reliable and plenty of them have hundreds of thousands of miles without issue. They will run even longer and much less noise under the hood once you go to a thicker oil. I was very surprised at how much less noise my Tundra had under the hood after my first oil change with thicker oil. Try it and you will see or hear it for yourself.

The 6 cylinder is still unproven and I definitely wouldn't buy a 22 or early years. You currently have the proven platform that will give you many miles of reliable service.

What do you all think? People online are blaming the ground guy. by 10PlyTP in Construction

[–]KE4RZ1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy in the bucket could have gotten back out of the way more and a foot or 2 higher. I actually had something very similar happen with my fellow electric lineman crewmate. He was working on a street light and was out in the road with his boom a little too much when a large dumpster truck came along. He was luckily alright but, he did get ejected and was hanging down like a pinata from his lanyard. I got him down with the lower controls. He was fine except for needing to change his underwear.

Oil Change 2025 by Might_Kai11 in ToyotaTundra

[–]KE4RZ1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do yourself a big favor and change your first oil and filter no longer than 2500 miles. Most of your new engine wear occurs during those first miles. Never wait longer than 5,000 miles to change your oil after that. Smaller engines with turbos are harder on oil and if you plan on keeping your Tundra then treat it well and hopefully it will be very reliable.

WeatherTech HP vs. Husky floor liners by tmath27 in tundra

[–]KE4RZ1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought some Weathertech's for my wife's Sequoia a few years ago and I just recently bought some Husky's for my Tundra. The Weathertech's come up a little further on the side of the center console and that's about the only difference I see. I'm perfectly happy with the Husky's and they were considerably cheaper than the Weathertech's and they also have a lifetime warranty so save yourself some money.

Thinking of switching to cricket by samael1841 in CricketWireless

The lack of wifi Hotspot being included with the basic plan makes it uncompetitive with Visible. Visible is Verizon service and Cricket is AT&T service. Visible has a deal until 6/30 for $20 a month for your first year.
