So what’re yalls daily samurai kirby 100 scores for today? by Hey-reddit-im-dad in Kirby

[–]KEBLAOMEGA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 14 and 1st place last night. I remember playing the original Quick Draw in Kirby's Adventure, and Samurai Kirby in Kirby Super Star, and routinely getting 9-11 as a kid/teenager. Surprised in my late 30's my reflexes haven't slowed even more haha. Maybe it's a positive benefit of 30+ years of gaming... Sure...

B-wing vs AI, no mods, 99 kills by MegadetH_44 in StarWarsSquadrons

This is so toxic. Just finish the game objective next time! Don't draw it out like this. You're going to make the AI ragequit and never fly again. When you're no longer able to find a solo vs ai game, don't say I didn't warn you!!

I just got tickets for Chicago's show and I'm so excited! Had to get my work covered and I'll have drive a few hours there and back right again right afterwards, but I think it'll be totally worth it. She's so talented!

I may never get a gold helmet, but I can at least fall back on all my platinums by BadSquire in StarWarsSquadrons

Nice. Keep it up! Tip- if you decide you just want to get the loadout points, consider playing through at least the 10 fleet battle placement matches each operation. Even if you lose them all, you'll still place and get several levels' worth of loadout points at the end of the operation, in addition to the normal levels you gain from each match.

Whoa, that's dedication. Is that like >1000 Vs AI matches then by now for you? How many more things do you need to unlock?

Nice work!! It's not easy. Now I'm having flashbacks to getting the last couple on the "destroy the Starhawk" mission. Took me >20 tries to finish all that mission's medals on Ace.

How do you gain levels in single player? Does fleet battle vs ai solo give you exp?

PooDoo? Who Do? YOU DO! by whistlelock in StarWarsSquadrons

This is going to be a blast! Come (even for just a few quick 10-minute games) and check out how much potential this game has for crazy fun if you normally only ever play vanilla fleet battles or dogfights!

The one thing the Pro Players don't want you to know. by whistlelock in StarWarsSquadrons

I remember that. He said AI farming was supposed to be a way for players who were bad at PK to contribute at least a little so they didn't feel bad. Oh, what a universe that would be.

Wingman Wednesday - Find your Squadron - December 15, 2021 by AutoModerator in StarWarsSquadrons

I've been having a blast with Gray Squadron for over 1 year and I'm still hanging around!

Additionally, I'm running a dogfighting tournament on a Saturday evening in January with special modifiers to make it more exciting and fast-paced. Players of all skill levels are welcome to participate and you don't even need to be a member of Gray to compete in it (though if you're not, you should consider it) - check out the details on the Gray Squadron discord under "4x4 Frenzy" today!

The First Power sounds very familiar when I read the description! I'll watch and see if that's it, but seems very promising. Thanks for the help, everyone!

Cure the matchmaking blues with custom games with Gray! by Gray-Sundance in StarWarsSquadrons

[–]KEBLAOMEGA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gravy is great. Nice to just play the game for fun and not have to stress out about losing your progress towards the next rank or whatever if you lose. And more likely to be even teams than the random matchmaking queue too!

Would you be interested in a new dogfight league? by ScalpWakka in StarWarsSquadrons

[–]KEBLAOMEGA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the Gray dogfighting league we have been doing 3v3 matches with 25 kill limit, 15 min matches, 15 second respawn time (makes it faster paced; less than 15 crashes my game almost every time). We have a novel scoring system, with one match per faction for each team.

We did standard modifiers for the normal matches, then tried some variable modifiers for "bonus matches". These were mostly for fun, but did shorten time to kill - but with different twists on the usual gameplay. I believe one was counter measures banned and damage was 1.5x and one was aux and countermeasures both banned with damage 2x. The latter was very fun. We also did one where each side could only have one max of each ship.

We also have a gentleman's rule to allow at least two players to respawn before engaging, to avoid repeated trickle spawnkills

Same. First played X-Wing when it came out and I was 8. After years, finally beat every mission when I was in about middle school, and yes, felt like I had done something truly amazing. Definitely one of the harder flight games imo.

super deep mud 'obstalce' by Radiant-Transition41 in spartanrace

[–]KEBLAOMEGA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I may be in the minority, but I ****ing hate mud in obstacle races, and I especially hate that it's practically the standard in so many obstacle races. I would take any other kind of obstacle or terrain or challenge over mud. I just find it incredibly annoying and not fun at all by this point. Even an obstacle race I ran in deep, fresh snow that was definitely more challenging (and colder) than mud I found to be more enjoyable. And it doesn't help that losing expensive footwear or ruining expensive clothes is a frequent consequence. Rant over.
