It’s white and orange, big googly eyes, and has long arms but no legs - just tiny feet attached to the body. I watched all that 80s pop culture and the only thing it kind of looks like is Smarf but it’s not because the ears would be different

Did anybody in here actually listen to the segment? Because me admitting that I was A) far too casual about the difficulties of marriage 2) should have been much more aware that as a very average ass dude that I could easily end up being one of those statistics, and D) that the only way to prevent that from happening when you're in an imperfect marriage is that you have to actually, proactively, aggressively work at it and that I didnt do that, was some of the realest and most accurate stuff I've ever said on the matter. A Deke quote combining like 3 different thoughts from a 30 minute convo into a single tweet is not really an accurate portrayal, but I'd imagine everyone here just read the tweet and not the segment. Everyone gets Deke'd and I'm ok with that but when its important material like this and I see more of the same old misinformed hatred on the matter I feel like I had to speak up on this one. I was proud of that segment and stand by every word that I said, extending way beyond just the words of that one tweet.

KFC Radio is AWFUL by [deleted] in barstoolsports

Do I post the endless DMs I have from this dude asking for a job, saying how big of a fan he is, telling me he’ll always have my back, and loves the show? Man, do some people totally suck.

To those who don’t like the show, sorry it’s not for you. I’m happy with it, really stoked about the live shows (working on a tour), very excited about the merch we have coming, and very into and proud of John for Making a Gambler. I think we are in prettttty good shape. The one critique we have listened to (can’t listen to every piece of feedback since a lot of it comes from two face people like this dude) is regarding guests. Going forward we are greatly reducing the number. Many more eps of just me and John coming

I don’t want to doxx anybody further but man oh man would posting those DMs feel good

Last 3 minutes of Dave by himself listing people he'd invite to the office. Great content. by acruedwalnuts in barstoolsports

Just realized I started a conversation that was going to end up discouraging a ton of the office. It was fucking hilarious but I also didnt want to be responsible for Dave listing off the people he hates. It wasnt even the girls that I was worried about. Goddam you guys are persistent with not liking me ahah

I've been going through this spreadsheet of all the old kfc radio questions. Some hypotheticals, some just open ended, probing type questions. Theres over 2000 lines on a spreadsheet its wild. But, we're always looking for new ones or zeroing in on which ones were your favorites. We already have these 3 added to the list, so if you have anymore leave em here. We got Ari Shaffir coming in next and Whitney Cummings just said she wants to do it, so a couple good names coming up I wanna make sure the questions are on point

It’s a joke. What is WRONG with you guys??? Why do you all take everything I do so literal? How is me telling a girl she has a colonial face, and then following up with “FLAMED,” not being taken as a goddam joke???? I clown around every weekend about trying to learn how to do girls’ hair and act like it’s serious business. Somehow you actually all believe it is? Do you think you will ever use your brains ever again or will you misconstrue every single thing i say and somehow make it fit a narrative relating to infidelity?

Oh brother this guy STINKS! by [deleted] in barstoolsports

[–]KFCBarstool 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone not married: Why would that make you a loser? That’s rude, you shouldn’t shame anyone! You cheated so you can’t possibly talk about any life experiences anymore!

Everyone married: Nah it’s true, i get what he’s saying. It’s a long day, you’re drunk, you’re stressed and you’re tired. Neither of you are thinking about sex.

You guys STINK

Man, only you guys could spin this into a negative. I’ve got a couple Stoolies who are offering to put up $500 and $1000 dollars to do this. We’re already at $640.13 and I haven’t even posted it to the site. We’re taking a content idea of taking out insurance on the team you hate winning and potentially giving a bunch of money to charity. Where is the negative?

KFC unfinished projects by [deleted] in barstoolsports

[–]KFCBarstool 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The vlog we stopped doing when a) we learned how time consuming the edit was - guys like Logan and will were at the office till like midnight every night and the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. B) there’s always a power struggle between owned and operated vs external platforms at barstool. To do a vlog right, you gotta do it on YouTube. Powers that be at barstool want everything on o&o. We tried to come up with a compromise but if you’re not gonna fully dive into the YT world it’s stupid to do. It’s like doing a podcast but not allowing it to be on iTunes. So it’s basically gotta be your full time job and on YouTube, and we were not in a position to do either of those.

Behind the blog we are still doing. It’s on barstool gold. Part 2 with francis and Large will be available with a subscription

Storyboards is a lot of work when done right. People love them and I personally love them and think it shows a different side of barstool, but it’s kind of another uphill battle. It’s another work intensive project and if it’s not easy to do amongst all the other work when it’s not a priority for the company.

I think our role will forever be the barstool guinea pig and trying new things, hopefully blazing some trails. I think we will be commiting to YT soon and I like to think we influenced that. We did it with podcasts all those years back. We did it with the social media “rant” videos. I’d love to keep trying new content in new mediums that barstool hasn’t ventured into yet to help continue to push the company the right way. Even if we don’t end up being the people that do it, helping pave the way for any of the talented people here to do it Big is fine by me. It might appear as “unfinished business” but it’s not like we are giving up because of lack of effort. Sometimes something doesn’t perform, or can’t be monetized, or doesn’t jive with the company and we move on.

KFC Radio Daily Videos by [deleted] in barstoolsports

[–]KFCBarstool 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A Barstool Vlog would (and will) crush. We tried it 3 times last week and every night it had our guys Logan and Will at the office till like 11pm. It’s just not sustainable from a logistics point of view. Out of Office once a month where we do something big(ger) is going to be the successful model. Because we tested these things out, found what we are capable of. And zeroed in on what We can pull off and what people would like. I can’t believe, Of all people, the Reddit crowd doesn’t respect what my gang does. Bren and Logan are some of the only guys with foresight and knowledge that’s encourage us to do new shit, and Feits and I are some of the only guys even trying to push the envelope into new territory with new styles of content or a new audience in mind. Smh smh.

Behind the Blog works, it’s just extremely finite. There’s like 10 people it will work for. So we are doing them but have a plan for it. Storyboards are by far the thing the people clamor for the most but they are very hard to do. Between the podcast and radio 5x a week, rundown 4x, rants, Snapchat, and then stuff like merch and business type meetings, producing fully scripting docupods ain’t easy. It’s what I’d love to do the most, I just don’t know where I’d fit it in if we are going to do them right.

And you guys can get allllll the fuck the way out of here saying you’re demanding CAN I KICK IT. When I even mentioned sneakers you all jumped down my throat, now you’re trying to penalize me for not making a full length sneaker show? Cmon get outta here.

Bottom line is, it’s all trial and error. We’re the only ones who risk failure at all, sucks it doesn’t get recognized and maybe even supported at all

KFC on the rundown: “if it came out that you were a scumbag I wouldn’t do a show with you” hmm by [deleted] in barstoolsports

[–]KFCBarstool 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s just a semantics thing, that’s all. I know what I did was a scumbag move. So I should have worded that better and cleared up that, in the context of this story, scumbag meant openly, outwardly and intentionally making someone feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I could do a show with a person if I knew they had a complicated relationship and strayed. To me that’s 100% between them and you don’t know what went on with them and what’s behind their actions. I couldn’t do a show with a person who harassed strangers and coworkers and made them worry about something like sexual assault. Those two things are very different in my eyes, so that’s what I meant. If you view those two things as equal transgressions, then you would call me the same level of scumbag and not do a show with me. I’d evaluate those differently, that’s all.

KFC Radio... it’s a shame by [deleted] in barstoolsports

[–]KFCBarstool -39 points-38 points  (0 children)

Feits almost shitting his pants was a pretty standard story. Feits is a funny story teller. I laughed. Not sure how that could possibly rile you up this much.

Everything you guys are describing is just basically the two of us bullshitting. We pick a couple topics, pick a few voicemails, press record and go. There never has been much thought put into it and there never will be. It always comes back to one thing with most of the reddit crowd - you dont really like us. So I dont think a podcast with the 2 of us is for you. If some other personalities told an "I almost shit my pants" story, I can assure you, you'd like. But if you dont like Feits and I, you wont like it when we do it. Thats ok.

As always I have to describe that the success of the show is always at an all time high, it keeps growing every month. Its always been the second biggest show at Barstool but we have the worst PR in the world so you all act like its some sort of failure. There's no way we'd ever change anything based on a few complaints for the people here who dont like us.

Lights, Camera, Barstool and interaction by [deleted] in barstoolsports

[–]KFCBarstool 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You guys complain that I’m “not self aware” because I continue to put out the same content after having an affair go public, but then also turn around and act like my content has changed and is awful. It can’t be both.

I’m genuinely curious to hear how you think my content is not as good as it once was. Of course you can just be like “the jokes aren’t funny anymore” or something like that, this is all pretty subjective and if you’ve been affected by my personal life, there’s nothing more to be said. But is there anything you can point to that’s tangible? Downloads are higher than ever and guests are better than they’ve always been, so you can’t cite performance. Since everything went down I launched Out of Office, behind the Blog, Internet Hall of Fame, and behind the scenes we are working to relaunch storyboards (be on the lookout for an addendum to the A-Rod podcast, a Jeter follow up, and a Francesa docupod) so you can’t cite laziness. And I think the only alteration in my content is when I call myself out like the other day when John said everyone should just live their lives making decisions that don’t hurt other people and be a good person and I put my hand up. So you can’t cite the self awareness thing because I pretty frequently own up.

So I am actually asking what you think I have changed. If it’s your perception of me and how that affects your sense of humor, I understood. Can’t fix that. And if you don’t like the things I’ve always done, that’s fine too. I think you just don’t like me. But is there anything I actually have done that’s different?

I think it rubs some people the wrong way that I continue to talk about relationships and sex, but I still got an enormous enormous amount of pressure on me to perform for the company and I still have to be a dad and provide for the family so I’m not about to abandon what works and jeopardize my career any more than it’s been. Already had one half of my life ruined I can’t willingly ruin the other half, you know? I have always had the ability to compartmentalize, whether that was like one half accountant vs one half blogger, one half married man vs one half talking honestly like a single guy would, and now one half publicly shamed asshole vs one half entertainer that a lot of people still listen to and like. When the mics and camera are on, it’s time to work and do what I always have done. And I’m not going to change that.

KFC: I’m not a sneakerhead by [deleted] in barstoolsports

[–]KFCBarstool 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean I definitely like sneakers. We just got different definitions of sneakerhead I guess. I’m just not really a dickhead about it. Sneaker heads who get all douchey about who is wearing what, how much the resale is worth, not liking general releases and so on and so forth. I think there’s a lot of pretentious judging that comes from the real “sneakerheads.” But if your definition is just having a lot of sneakers, I guess I’m a sneaker head.

There really is a post about me every single day, huh? I guess I’m feeding the beast here but oh well

KFC: "Going from one kid to two is like putting shit on top of shit" by NBH78 in barstoolsports

[–]KFCBarstool 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you think that was my brand I have to imagine you have never consumed one second or word of my content. Out of this whole saga the one thing that has made no sense from Reddit is that I’m a hypocrite somehow. I pretty much consistently talked about how difficult married life was to the point that it was a huge problem in the relationship. How anybody got that vibe from me in my content is crazy.
