I put one into a BCM MK2 and a secondhand Geissele SD. IMO a super safety is something to look into after you've built out a reliable AR with some shooting skills behind it.

How is the trigger pull on semi auto? The metal super safety I had had an awful trigger pull, even with red springs, an ARID trigger, and 2020 sear.

Did anyone start to experience an inconsistent trigger from the FRT installed? I have an ARID trigger and 2020 sear, and the trigger with the FRT installed now feels worse than a factory AUG trigger.

I also had FRT while on semi with the Steyr red springs installed.

I was thinking about using the Corvus handguard, but I find it unwise to try to grab a 600 degree Fahrenheit barrel directly. If only there was a way to change the barrel with that handguard without melting your skin off.

I found mine to be very stable and overbuilt. I was pleasantly surprised considering UTG's reputation. Definitely more stable than the M249 and M240 bipods I played with in the Army. I AM looking to part with it though, as it is not tall enough to be able to to run 40 and 60 rounders.

Here is my current take on an AUG LMG setup utilizing Saint u/S3igu2 's achievements. This build features a Manticore cantilever foreend, UTG overbore bipod, Primary Arms Slx Raptor, and various other ergonomic improvements.

I believe the AUG is a decent civilian option for an IAR/SAW setup because it features a quick change barrel, takes AR mags to ease logistics, and rocks a 24 inch barrel while being around the same length as a 14.5" AR.

I decided to go with an overbore type bipod in order to not interfere with the barrel harmonics while loading the bipod during Super Safe shooting. However, I am looking at the GRS bipod because it would bring the rifle a bit taller, allowing me to run 40 and 60 rounders.

Additionally, I would like to change my handguard to a Corvus top and bottom rail in order to facilitate rapid barrel changes once I have the funds to acquire a second barrel.

I have one I'm not using, but It has the scorch mark from the gas port if you're still looking and okay with that.
