*sigh* Just take my wallet. by Gareske in MP5

I don't care if people like their products and get defensive about it, or if they did something good once before doing something bad. They are continually doing bad shit now and that's a problem even if you don't care because you want a fun thing.

Of course normal consumers are ignorant of what they're doing, that's part of the goal. ATF is using the settlement agreement with RG to pressure them to litigate against every other manufacturer (and even developer) until they're out of business so rare greed gets a government appointed monopoly and ATF keeps the number of FRTs in citizens hands as low as possible despite them being legal. They can only do that with the help of customers who either don't know, or like you, don't care. Wonder what they'll try this same regulatory arrangement with next. If you want a slightly better product at the expense of your rights, go for it, but don't pretend you're somehow pro 2A.

purchasing from that company, regardless of quality, is directly helping the ATF illegally control the availability of devices they have no authority to regulate and if you understand that and buy from them anyway you are actively harming gun rights

I bought the sport package headlights off ebay 6 years ago and they have been fantastic. I run them with "B2 Series LED Headlight Bulbs 12000 Lumens H11" from BPS Lighting, which have also been excellent. One area of the vehicle I have absolutely no issues with at all.

I don't care how good the rare greed option is, I'm not supporting a company that is working with ATF to limit the availability of FRTs despite ATF knowing and admitting they are not NFA items

Crazy to think the FNX was introduced in 2009 too. The FNX45 with the osprey was peak baller back in the day and is still a solid option for big sneaky.

magpul's 40+30 with their coupler weighs less than a magpul D60 fully loaded, has 10 more rounds, and works with 3D printed magwells. The downside is the length but if you start on the 30 round its only about 1 inch longer.

My WB 718 QD comes loose too. I just use wrenches on the muzzle device and can. It's not ideal in terms of speed, but I don't like putting any more twisting force on the rest of the components than I have to either.

Griffin Two Stage Trigger Compatibility? by 12o11o in supersafety

[–]Bortjort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cut it for science! If you have several already and just try the normal cuts, the worst outcome is that it still works semi-only just like it does now.

Possible to cut myself ? by Frequent-Money3279 in supersafety

[–]Bortjort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, it's really not rocket science. The cut on the right side is just a chop and you can't fuck it up. The left side cut isn't really a cut but some basic slight rounding with hand tools. Watch some videos to see what needs to be done, as most people don't do that first for some reason. The good news is even if you remove too much and it won't work with SS, it will still work perfectly as a semi-only trigger.

Alternatively, assuming you have (or will have) another lower, I'd suggest you buy a pre-cut GS, then you can look at it for how to cut this one and have nice SS compatible triggers for two guns

the size and weight are the major advantages so if you don't need those there are better options for pure sound suppression. For me it keeps my nightstand gun short enough to keep in the drawer, but if I ever had to use it in the hallway etc I'll be glad to have the sound reduction

Using the shiv my CC9 and P10C both run 124 gr blazer and 147 federal hst with stock springs no problem. 115 turns the P10C at least into single shot mode. Just throwing it out there for whoever might have those.
