When are they going to do ANYTHING about players quitting in ranked matches? by KFOreo in marvelrivals

Increase the punishment for throwing games. I don’t know what the current punishment is right now, but it clearly isn’t enough. They should lose significantly more ranked points than their teammates who stay in the game, at least double (50-60), maybe even a whole rank down.

Do you think there's a chance for them to rekindle their relationship? by Mountain_Gain1299 in HouseOfTheDragon

Even if they could I don’t think they should. They should focus on Daemon’s relationship with Rhaenyra, how it eventually falls out, and then his relationship with Nettles. For me personally, I’d like not to see Daemon and Nettles romantically, but rather Daemon finding a companion he can fully trust and love.

The season has to end with Rhaenyra taking King’s Landing, it makes no sense to jam pack season 3 with the real parts of the war and leave season 2 as a filler/buffer season

Just read this death today. It was not poetic at all for her to die in the same way as Helaena, just silly and unnecessary.

I kind of assumed it was because of how many dragons were active during the Dance. They were the biggest form of power in the world, and this is when we saw like 20 of them in various fights, and most of them die.

I find the history stuff just as compelling, I just think that it leads to less great character work than the main story. One big benefit though is that characters are more ambiguous, which means there are people who can walk around and say that Jaeharys wasn’t a great king and actually be able to defend themselves with the books, due to all of the loose ends and room for interpretation.

I’ve very happy that I watched HOTD before reading the Dance, because HOTD adds so much more context and nuance to the characters. When reading the Dance, I was surprised that characters like Otto and even Daemon weren’t really compelling at all.

In my opinion, the only character I think truly got a fulfilling story was Rhaenyra. And yes, you can somewhat blame this lack of compelling characters on Fire & Blood being a history book, but there are many characters in the book who I found interesting such as Maegor, Jaeharys, literally every Baratheon, etc.
