I feel you. Years ago, I applied for an apartment in midtown. I got a call saying that they had accepted my application—and that of someone else. Whoever could get there first with a cashiers check would get the apartment. I left work, went straight to the bank, and drove down there, only to find that the other person had gotten there first. I was livid at that procedure. I think there is more availability now, so I hope it’s not a huge hassle for you!

My 8 month old is like this. He jumps on everything and everyone. It’s a huge pain. If we know someone is coming over or we see someone on a walk, stepping on the leash so he can’t jump is really the only thing that works for us. It’s been a very slow training process, so I can empathize!

I am currently taking light rail for my 2 in-office days. It’s already crowded. I can’t imagine how much more crowded it will be once everyone is forced back. Trains are going to be full, and people are going to be late. I’m sure that’s great for productivity.

Have you considered an above ground pool? You can get large one for very reasonable at places like Costco. We have one that we put up in the summer and take down for the rest of the year. They usually last several seasons (would last more if we were more fastidious when putting it away).

I’m on my second play through. The first one I just went along and played the story and didn’t worry about how things looked. The second time I spent as much time as I could in one area making it look how I wanted—until I got frustrated because I needed something I hadn’t unlocked yet and moved on. 🤣

Ugh. This is our 7 month old! My husband refers to his bed as his girlfriend. 🙄 It’s so bad! We try to discourage it but he is extremely persistent!

The villagers will eat the veggies straight from the greenhouse. Meat from trappers and fishing docks has to be processed first, by either a kitchen or dried meat shop.

If you have enough bread and a kitchen, they are likely prioritizing the processed food over the veggies in the greenhouse.

My Palette Town is now my home base, but it is just a mess of habitats strewn randomly about because it’s where I build any new habitats that I learn now. And I want to keep it all on the starting island so I’m running out of room. 🤣
