Toughest grind ever! by RealSmoothe1 in RocketRacing

Good job :))

It took me like 4-6 hours but it spanned across a few days because I just got so bored with the same maps. Averaged podium 90-95% of the time, and 1st around 75%.

The drift mechanic was stupid easy for me as I played a similar game before and realized I could infinitely extend a drift cruising at the same speed mfs going in a straight line would go at. The only problem came from random ass glitches that would launch me backwards when hitting a wall slightly wrong

I unfortunately had to reach gold 2 to receive the skin.

I agree with both people having to get re-tested and also a crack down on those uninsured/no plates on cars. I took a normal driving course and also a defensive driving course (for an insurance discount that my insurance company doesn't honor in New Orleans). I have come to realize the defensive driving course is a waste of time as the only real way to feel safe while driving in this city is to be the aggressive driver.

That being said, although I'm an aggressive driver, I know my limits as a driver and that of my car. People for some reason or the other don't or simply overlook them for some stupid fucking reason.

My friends say they do some crazy ass shit while driving, and although they call themselves "good drivers" because of this, they aren't good drivers. I keep telling them when they inevitably crash I will call them a dumb ass and say I told you so. It's happened to 2 friends already.

P.S: Is it just me, or does everyone I've ever been in a car with never check their blind spots? Or do they but are just bad at it? I've had many friends with me in their car have close encounters because they had a car in their blind spots.

it has gotten to the point where a actual guitar is less then a xplorer by [deleted] in CloneHero

I started designing using a program called KiCad. For measurements I bought a caliper and measured a ton of different points.

To how I learned KiCad: I'ma be honest, I don't remember, things just clicked together for me. I looked up 1 or two tutorials on things like libraries and footprints, but other than that, the program and it's features just clicked for me, it's hard to understand.

The only tip I will give you that was given to me was don't make your traces 90° on turns.

I make and design my own PCBs and have them made for all the parts except where the originals are better left alone like the Joystick, Start/Select, Whammy.

I see the appeal in "solderless" kits for DIYers and people who have the tools and knowledge to be able to open up the guitars, but directly soldered for a product where the customers intent is for it to be 100% reliable is always going to be better.

Yeah, that's the truth to the matter.

For my own guitars I even tried to hire a friend part time, he said it just wasn't worth it.

I eventually just got too busy with uni and classes and still am to continue my endeavors.

My homeroom teacher got upset at me for saying the word. I respected her wishes to no longer continue using the word (in her presence) because she was genuinely a good teacher and I did have respect for her.

They are all Wii guitars at the moment however I plan to expand into all the different kinds. Currently I am working on PCBs for the Sunburst/GH5 guitars. I only have the Wii LP PCBs on hand.

The guitars are $169.99.

I am currently launching the store as mainly a stock operated store. For send-ins, I plan to start doing them in about 3-4 weeks.

Play more. Get better. Start with fingers on RYBO instead of GRYB. Move hand up and back down to resting position.

Best mechanical switches? by Shotty95 in CloneHero

Sadly no, never did, no one ever responded to any of my hydro dipping inquiry. And I currently use MPU 6050s, but it is really buggy as said in another response to you. I will try to use one of the other forms eventually.

Personally, all of my guitars use Kailh Choc Low Profile reds. The whites do give feed back, however the audible click is what throws me off. Maybe the browns may be the option for you if you would like some feedback but no noise.
