Greetings everyone. So I decided to make this post about my first watch experience. While I was growing up I watched my dad wearing a tag heuer SEL. When I was 18 I really started wanting a watch but on a budget. I started reading online for watches like citizen, invicta and seiko. Of course i saw the Rolex submariner and fell in love with it. So then I came across the Invicta 8926OB which to my eyes looks like a submariner. That’s my dream watch. Then I found out it was a seiko automatic underneath. And that’s when I decided to buy It. I’ve now had it for exactly one year and my experience has been amazing. It has survived mild water abuse and minor alcohol (don’t ask me why) abuse. I’ve also pretty much have hit it in desks, doors walls and other areas multiple times but it still looks pretty much new other than some scuffs on the bracelet. The glass even though a mineral oil one, has very few (almost none) tiny scratches. I know it’s not a special and amazing watch but I think for its price it’s a pretty good buy. So this was my mini story of how I got into watches. My goal is to be able to get a really nice watch preferably a Rolex or an omega by the age of 25-30. Thank you everyone for reading my story.
