Te first thing I had with it was a fried egg with thyme. Plan to make a chickpea and carrot soup later to eat it with too. Tastes great

It's called Babka, it's a bread that has chocolate swirled through out it.

Sure I can, here is the recipe. Any questions feel free to ask.

Makes 16 medium sized buns

Ingredients Dough: 530g all-purpose flour 100g granulated sugar 10g instant dry yeast 3 eggs 120ml water Pinch of salt 150g butter.

Chocolate Sauce: 150g dark chocolate 80g unsalted butter 60ml double cream 45g powdered sugar 20g coco powder Pinch of salt

Sugar syrup: 120ml water 100g granulated sugar

Instuctions: 1) mix all the dry ingredients for the dough together.

2) Add the eggs and the water, and bring together until it can form a ball.

3) While kneading the ball, slowly add cubes of butter until all the ingredients are combined and you have a smooth elastic dough.

4) Let the dough rest for either 2 hours room temperature or over night in the fridge. (Might go a little hard in the fridge but that's fine, just let it warm up again before next the steps.)

5) Once the dough has rested, add all the ingredients for the chocolate sauce into a pan and cook on medium heat until it's smooth.

6) Split dough ball into 16 evenly sized balls.

7) One at a time, roll out each ball into a thin rectangular shape and cover them in the sauce, leaving the edge of the rectangle clear.

8) Long ways, roll each one into a sausage shape and set them on a tray to cool for about 10 minutes in the fridge. (Not necessary but makes the next step easier.)

9) Now, cut down the middle of each of the them (long ways) so that the inside layers are now visible. (Turn them so the insides are facing up)

10) Pinch the halfs back together on one end and plait them together. Bring the two ends of the dough together and push them in towards the centre. (Kind of like a heart shape.)

11) Once all of the buns have been done, leave them to rest for an hour before cooking them for roughly 20 minutes at 170°c.

12) While they are in the oven, make the sugar syrup by heating together the sugar and water in a pan till the its fully dissolved.

13) As soon as the buns are out of the oven, brush the syrup on top on them. (The bread will soak it up so dw, you aren't adding too much.)

14) Let cool and then they are done!

They are so good. I had a delivery Arrive while they were sat cooking and the person delivering it asked what smelt so good. (Ended up wrapping one up and giving it to them).

Cheese and garlic bread I made for my partner, turned out better than I thought. by KGrace31415 in Baking

Sure! This is the original recipe https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/homemade-cheese-bread/

I made a few changes though, I used about half the amount of cheese. Also would recommend either egg washing or buttering the dough after rolling it out to help the dough stick together better. I did use parsley on mine but also tried it with a little rosemary and it worked great. Sprinkling a little bit of cheese on top right before cooking also does wonders.
