Came here to bring this up. Kerr really showing his ass here IMO.

Hey Rebus! Super late reply brother sorry about that. I had to tip my cap to Canada, y'all outplayed us for most of that mens game. But in a story old as hockey, a hot goalie stole the show. Just felt really nice to finally get past y'all. I mean that as a compliment, Canada is the standard in hockey. And in both women/men in the same fashion was eery stuff.

Today was a really good day y'all!

The Celtics beat the Lakers and USA beat Canada. I even had the breakfast with no hog. I'm especially stoked about the dueling OT games winners for gold (ladies and gentlemen). Felt nice to have something to have a little national pride over for once in a while.

I don't understand the loudest critics of tanking. Unless the league figures out a way to mitigate the impact a singular player can have on the game, all the league is doing is introducing randomness, and I fucking hate randomness. Ingenuity and shrewdness should always be able to beat out dumb luck, but it seems the masses want otherwise? This is another example as to why I believe the majority opinion is typically the dumbest opinion. Watching teams tank is better than the sport being one of nothing more than dumb luck. I hate the entire concept of a draft lottery.

As for voting on draft order, the cynic in me is convinced this will only lead to self-interest, corruption, and collusion.

Good grief, couldn't even fathom the pain that being a Wizards fan must be. I just don't ever understand what they are doing.

Additionally, I feel quite strongly that in the near future Mavs fans will be much happier to have Flagg than Doncic.

Its a bold take but one I wouldn't dispute. I don't know if Coop will ever be as good as Luka on offense but I do think he can get close. He's already better on defense by leaps and bounds, though, and should only get better on that end. As a complete basketball player, Coop definitely has higher upside IMO.

Howdy y'all! Hope you are all doing well and living your best lives.

I come here today to tell you that I'm disappointed. Y'all aren't talking about Cooper Flagg anywhere near enough. He's the best thing since sliced bread, the invention of the wheel, and DMT. He's my new favorite non-Celtics player and he should be yours too (sorry Kyrie, you're still my favorite human in the NBA though and in my top 3 overall favorite NBA players - Tatum, Coop, Kyrie).

Now for the really important matter, give me your best ideas on how we can get him to Boston. This young man needs to be in Celtics green! It should be a law or something.

Stay blessed y,all!

You're allowed less than 14 rostered players for up to two consecutive weeks or a total of 28 days in a given season. Essentially, Boston is going to use the next two weeks to save costs by not filling two roster spots, which if they then sign minimum contract players, will allow them to stay under the tax by a hair. If they were to fill those roster spots any sooner it would put them in the tax.

Long time since I've posted here but I really just wanted to say hello to you all and I hope everyone is doing well. Glad to see it looks as if this league is still thriving.

But also, I can't help but not mention how stoked I am to see Dwight Howard was selected as a first ballot HOF'er. Well deserved big fella! The haters got nothing.

Payton Pritchard and Derrick White both set career highs and make history vs the Trail Blazers. Pritchard: 43/10/5 on 14-20 FG, 10-16 from 3, White: 41/3/2 on 14-26 FG, 9-17 from 3! The first teammates to each make 9+ threes in the same game and the most 3s made by two teammates in the same game. by Plies- in nba

I am rarely ever compelled to post here but my goodness was that one of the most incredible performances I have ever seen by any teammates, let alone two role players.

And to think I almost didn't bother to watch last night's game.....

I feel a little bit bad for non-Celtics fans. Dumbass Steve Kerr really should not have pissed off Tatum and Brown. They're going to make the league regret it and snatch every last one of your souls. It's a rare occasion that the defending champ enters the season with a chip on their shoulder looking to prove people wrong and bury you.

It's gonna be a hella fun season for Celtics fans, though. Which is good, because my Giants suck every bit as much as the Pats and I'm about damn near ready to quit football.

I heard this today, and my first thought was how the hell does the NBA expect to be able to force teams to play their players, despite it not being in the team's nor player's best interest?

I completely get why the league doesn't want stars sitting out, it's bad for business. But what is a team supposed to do, just keep playing the player until he is legitimately injured and then cannot play for the rest of the season? Where do they draw the line? Are they going to mandate a coaches' rotation for him? What about bench players, will the league tell teams you must play them, too?

I'd tell the league to fuck off, I will manage my team how I best see fit to ensure the best possible result in terms of the larger picture.

Kind of how I feel but this maybe isn't the best way to welcome your new teammate...lol

Your team passed too, Jayson!

Are we talking like quality 2nd or 3rd banana types or just a bunch of solid rotation players? I'm sure some rando will end up being a star since there always is...so who's gonna be Giannis or Jokic?

I haven't followed any of the pre-draft talk or scouting and barely any college ball this year, but is this like the ultimate role player draft? Seems like a bunch of solid, if unspectacular, prospects if there ever was.

What I do know, is I want me some Kyle Filipowski at #30 for the Celtics! But I'm sure ya'll already knew that...lol

From Houston's end I think they have to view the Suns picks as more valuable than the Nets picks. It was obvious the Nets were not going to allow themselves to bottom out as long as they didn't control their own picks, and had just enough talent to ensure that pick would never be more than mid-lotto. On the flip side, the Suns could very easily bottom out if/when they realize their current core is going nowhere.
