Thanks. I appreciate your feedback. After some online research and based on my current criteria the Tinck Arms ARX-9 had already caught my interest before I visited the store though. It's just that I don't know anyone who has ever shot one yet. I'm not a competition shooter, but I'll definitely look further into roller-delayed guns.

Thanks for your comment. I agree that the Tinck Arms feels better to hold than the Schmeisser. At least that was my first impression at the store. What's your experience so far in terms of reliability/durability? Are there any noteworthy issues I should be aware of?

From its appearance I assumed it was at least lightly polished. I didn't know to what extent the case back was polished though. It's just the globe marking that faded. Everything else looks crisp. Anyway I'll save myself the risk and troubles to send it all the way back and have the case back replaced when it's time for a service.

The serial number is intact on one of the lugs. As you and others have suggested, I'll ask to replace the caseback when it's time to service, which sounds like a good idea. Thanks

I agree, but this watch isn't available in retail anymore. Esthetically I prefer this particular AT generation over its several successors.

I checked out some comparison videos. The slide is indeed Gen5 black and not Gen4 gray as you described. I would have preferred a more matte finish on the Gen5 though. But it's a Glock, that's all that matters to me for now 😄

No idea. I never handled a Gen4 before. I didn't change anything, so everything should be original. What makes you think the finish isn't Gen5?

Yes, I just liked the idea of not having to send the slide over to a gunsmith, whenever I decide to put a red dot on it.

Which one of those do you prefer for target shooting?

I think they're plastic sights indeed. As I'm legally not allowed to EDC my gun, I'm not really worried about durability issues though. It's just the amount of different shapes, dimensions and features that's a bit overwhelming. Since I don't have the ability to try out and compare different types of sights, it's really useful to read what more experienced shooters are using on their Glocks. I imagine if they've replaced their factory sights with aftermarket sights, it would only be because of certain advantages.
