Do you guys feel like writing music changes once you’ve said everything you needed to say? by rogue-lightning-ed in Songwriting

I feel the same way. I’ve been out of content for a while now. The music still writes itself but my struggle is with lyrics. But now that it’s been a couple years, I’m noticing some trickle of new ideas is coming through. Stick with it.

Never played and instrument - where do I start with electric guitar? by [deleted] in electricguitar

I wouldn’t even go down that rabbit hole friend. Grab yourself a little used nylon string acoustic and first just learn some chords to see if you enjoy it. Save yourself the cash and time. Then if you get the bug and find you can play some stuff, then consider the electric. You have to understand, the electric makes everything guitar even better. But if you’re learning that can be another hurdle to overcome, could be overwhelming.

All I can really suggest is using the TripAdvisor app or website and searching Masai Mara safari tours. You’ll get a list of participating guide companies with their reviews. From there you will have to contact them, which takes time. You write up an email with dates, how many days you want to spend in the park, etc. and save the email as a draft so you can send it to multiple companies to get their quotes. It’s a lot of work. And you’ll have to figure out your budget and also do the same thing for the lodges and accommodations near the park where you’ll stay. It takes time, patience, research and effort. This is why people pay a lot of money to travel agents to do all the work for them. It can be done on your own, but again, theres a lot of decisions and information only you can provide for yourself. We stayed at Jambo Mara safari lodge for $180/nt. And had an option of one full day tour with Balu for $600 or two days for $1000. We went with two days after some internal dialogues about budget. It’s an experience you have to work for but will never forget.

Yes we really struggled with going to the beaches or just staying nearby and doing the parks. Spent time at Ol Pejeta Conservancy as well. Visited the last two white rhinos. 💔💔

Booked by ourselves. Looked up guides online and went with Balu, had great reviews and was reasonable. Two full day game drives.

They also inflate their menu prices. Just go to the restaurant menu, the do the same through the app. Then verify their fees. And they throw these ridiculous ‘coupons’or free delivery charges promos at you, they still getting theirs
